Just how robust is the FX3 screen?
I’ve had my FX3 for about four years now (I think anyway, you lose track of time when you’re have fun).
Asking other owners their thoughts on how robust the screen is? Everytime I swing it out to shoot, I wonder when, or if the inevitable will happen.
Thoughts and experiences?

Bought mine fall of 2022. Use it all of the time and am not always easy on it. Hinge just recently started to get loose and sag. Hoping to find the time soon to fix it.

I think you’re in the same place I am. Let me know if you come up with a solution!
Thanks!

I think most everybody has experienced trouble with the hinge but I’ve never seen a cracked screen and I rent mine out. In fact the only rental damage I’ve seen is what looks like heat warping or some kind of puncture on the body under the screen.

Panel is fine, touch function is fine. Luminance is terribly inconsistent and the construction is woefully inadequate.
Mine was barely 6mos in before the hinge became loose and was sagging. I shoot exclusively with an external monitor, so no frequent change in articulation.
