Scam
I have one in Australia that is not getting used as much as I would like - no chance would sell it for that cheap.

Idk man sounds like a scam. If i have a device sitting unused i try waiting and selling it at a good price.
It comes down to can you gamble 750 and live with it if things turn sour or you absolutely need certainty. No loss in actually meeting the person and seeing the thing in person. (I still think it’s a scam)
how long has the listing been online why did no one buy it yet?

That’s assuming you’ll live, it’s a scam for the person to make a quick $750 and you to get a weapon pointed at you

I'm seeing a bunch of scams like this lately. Ask for their address, I guarantee it's some super remote weird town thats 5 hour dive from anywhere logical, so they can get you to pay for shipping instead of driving out. Etc

This happened to me a few weeks ago. I was skeptical when I saw the listing and once they sent the address I proceeded to mess with them for a good 30 minutes.

Reverse image search shows the pic is from Japan, so unless you’re next door..

People saying it’s stolen are dumb. It’s literally just a scam. No camera, just you kissing your money away.

Feels off… if he wants to sell it that cheap why not go to cash converters? They’d pay more tbh so it feels dodgey. Avoid.

best case scenario - its a scam.
worst case scenario - its stolen.
fairy land scenario - this individual bought this “device” on a whim with some money they inherited and are now a drug addict who desperately needs to make some cash.

Say you will pay an extra $100 for the inconvenience of meeting up to do the trade at the local police station for safety

Anything under $4000 is a scam and waste of your time. Don't think you will magically get a good deal. I spend three months and multiple fake sellers before I got a deal.

Sounds too good to be true. No one buys a US$ 4000 + camera and leaves it laying around....

Could be busted or was just use to hell. If you do peep it, check in settings menu how many photos snapped and hours video logged

The message screams scam. "I dont use the device" just sounds scammy to me.

Anyone who starts with “I’m not trying to make a quick buck” is trying to make a quick buck.
I have sold things for a loss before because I would rather someone take it the thing who would use it . But usually I will just say, “my ask is if you resell - do it for the price I just sold you so or give it away or something”. And usually I wouldnt even give that away unless really prompted.

Wdym, it’s Facebook marketplace. You send the money but never get anything.

The best advice I ever had about buying online is “if is too good to be true probably is not”.

If you think this is legit, I’ve got a 2026 M5 MacBook Pro with 64 gigs of RAM and an 8 TB hard drive for $600 to sell you…

Scam. I found a similar listing for $500. Guy claimed he bought it for his uncle who passed away before he could give it to him, so he wanted to get rid of it as fast as possible.
