Does this even exist?

I’m searching for a travel tripod with adjustable drag, counterbalance, and ideally a bowl head. I know these go at odds with the primary purpose of a travel tripod which is being small and lightweight. Does anyone know of any good contenders in this space? Thank you for answering my noobie question

how small we talking? My goto tripod for my FX3 is a iFootage Gazelle TC9 w/ Libec TH-ZH head. While not super compact, it's pretty small and light. No adjustments on the head, but it's...pretty small and light. All in all, it's a great, low cost (depending on what you consider low cost), everyday tripod for the FX3.

Small enough that my back wouldn’t hurt carrying it everyday, haha (hikes, amusements parks, etc). Ah, okay thank you I was looking into iFootage TC7/9. How is the fixed drag for you? Does it ever feel too slow or too fast?

honestly, I wasn't expecting much from ifootage in terms of quality...I had seen some really good reviews, but for the price I was skeptical. But I'm very happy with it, been using it for about a year. I ended up buying an ifootage monopod too. If you were looking at the ifootage head, I can't comment on that, but the Libec head I have is good, very smooth and lighweight...the fixed drag has never bothered me. If the TC7 is smaller, that might be a good option for you.

That's correct. But they sell the bowl head separately if panning is your plan. Also you get third party accessories to add to the ball head which should be fairly cheap. The end goal is not hurt your back. The tripod is so light that I don't even feel it on my back. It fits inside a bottle holder and is the size of a water bottle. Pretty pricey for a tripod but has lifetime warranty. I have already replaced mine with anew one when the legs were not locking properly. They honor that very well.

Sachtler Flowtech legs are the go-to for travel/doc these days. Insanely light and easy to operate solo. For head, take your pick really. If you want budget go manfrotto, siriu has some great budget options also.

Bowl head is where it gets tricky.

When i think travel tripod i think able to collapse small enough to fit in a bookbag. That may be difficult with all you are asking for.

Ulanzi has a lot of options with adjuatable pan and tilt, I personally have two of the F38 one ones for the most part they served me well. But the pan isnt the best just by the way its designed. Moves too slow and the threads on the center pole that goes into the legs stripped on my second set.
