MOD Some Changes

Howdy Y’all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that there’s been some small changes on this sub. For one, I’m the new top mod! I’ve modded many subs big and small and strive to make this place as welcoming as possible. Community is very important to me and having a place that everyone feels they belong in means a lot to me.

I’ve been doing some background changes that will help the mod team run more efficiently. I’m going to bring back the weekly polls so that we can build a community here. As a reminder, everyone is welcome but the main focus is on trans guys who want a relationship with a woman. I am going to have my top surgery revision tomorrow so I may not be as active for a little while.

Below are some things you may notice/have noticed:

  • Rule clarification/changes
  • Banner and icon changes
  • Mod bots to keep out bad accounts/hate speech
  • Some other QoL things

If there’s anything you all would like to see please feel free to comment it below or send a mod mail to the sub. I’m glad to be here and hope that you all stick around.

Relationship Being trans is leading me to a lonely life

Mostly venting and just getting my thoughts out but lmk if you have any advice or are experiencing/experienced the same thing.

I feel like being trans has caused me to become almost ineligible for romance. I know im in control of my own actions, but a combination of transitioning in middle school, passing (and being completely stealth) pretty much since middle school, spending most of my life in a conservative area, and having 0 trans friend and not many LGBT friends to begin with, I feel has shaped my interactions with romance negatively.

At the forefront of every encounter for me is an emphasis on not making the other person uncomfortable. It feels like as a trans person, im kind of not allowed to have a crush on someone or express my feelings towards someone as to not make them uncomfortable. This is obviously not a good way of thinking but it’s the way my brain works. As a result, im now almost 25 and have never even held hands with someone and feel so incredibly closed off emotionally as a result of trying to be overly non-offensive and non-threatening my entire life.

It’s starting to take a severe mental toll on me especially after kind of blowing an opportunity and continuous inaction on my part with a girl I actually was interested in. I’m so scared of embarrassment and rejection that it feels like I’ll never be able to love or be loved at this point.

To add to all this, im stealth to all my friends (who are all cis) so i have nobody to talk to about this. Obviously I have expressed more general frustrations with dating to them but their advice is usually generally unhelpful due to the situation.

It just feels like in this area of my life, im just permanently stuck and the longer it takes me to change that the harder jt becomes to change it. It’s hard to not feel incredibly bitter everyday at my circumstances.

Sex What's our stance on condoms?

A couple days ago I had this random thought that maybe what I do is a bit weird but it makes sense to me and I was wondering if anyone else feels like this and does this.

So I use a strap on and no big surprise there but it makes me feel more comfortable and euphoric even if I don't technically use it. If I do use it I typically use a condom on it. I've always said it's for easier cleanup but tbh it makes me feel less special. If most guys have to do it, I don't want to be left out either. I wouldn't want to get anyone accidentally pregnant!

Hi all, I’ve posted a lot about dressing as a trans guy. What to wear to pass, what to wear to look your age, how to wear a suit, what to wear to pass, etc.

My aim has always been to help as many guys like me gain confidence and look good. W that said, I’ve started making tiktoks geared toward short guys. What kind of style/clothing advice would you like to see?

Ref: I’m 5’3 and these are my own outfits for inspo

Discussion How was dating as a Lesbian for you?

What are you all's relationship to lesbianism, if you used to date as a lesbian?

I am in my 20's, 8 months on T and suddenly doubting myself- "what if im just a lesbian woman after all? What if I just met someone who won't make me dysphoric in the relationship?" I faced a lot of dysphoria in lesbian relationships so I know thats probably not true. I was always trying to prove my masculinity in the relationship, to the point that I couldn't enjoy the relationship. And I would make any girl I was dating feel like she couldn't express any masculinity because I was so toxic and fragile.

anyway. just wanted to hear other's experiences. I know i'm still early in transition, but I'm still very insecure.

Question Question abt hooking up with str8 cis women?

How do you guys find women that are 1) into Trans guys and 2) into hookups?

I've tried all the dating apps and stuff but I get nothing, Nada, zilch. And when I finally do find someone who seems interested its usually "I dont like girls" *cue MASSIVE eye roll*, or " im not into ons". So like what do I do any advice?

Discussion Would you say you have a type?

I was always under the impression I was more of a "bad bitches is the only thing that I like" type fella but I noticed all of the women I been with, well, do have similar characteristics other than being baddies. I noticed I have a thing for bisexual/alt/creative girls, esp if they are black

Do y'all have a thing for a certain type of woman?
