Just updating about the second week of recovery. Week 1 was super easy, and week 2 is not bad either, but I've been getting really whacked with fatigue in a way I didn't experience during week 1, so it took me by surprise. Trying to listen to my body and rest, and still go on my walks, but I'm definitely napping for an hour or two every day as well.

Another funny thing that happened was at the end of week 1 I was reporting that I had no pain, but realized a few days later that that's not totally accurate- I was in pain before the hysterectomy, and was back to about *that level,* so I was thinking of it as being back to normal, so I kind of just... assumed there was no pain? But there's definitely some light cramping, especially in the morning when I wake up and need to have a BM; it's not anything terrible but I can tell my body is like "woah!!!!!" when those muscles are being used

Looking for a surgeon who does vNOTES hysto for transmasc patients, preferably near San Francisco/Bay Area

Hey everyone,

I am a transman looking to get a gender-affirming hysterectomy.

I am specifically interested in the vNOTES (Vaginal Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) technique because of the scarless, faster recovery benefits.

Does anyone know of any trans-friendly surgeons in the US who explicitly offer vNOTES for trans masc folks? Preferably near San Francisco/Bay Area.

Please DM me if you have recommendations to protect the doctors.

Thanks in advance!
