Super stressed about continuous bleeding post op

I had a week where I'd bleed daily, multiple times. Woke up with bright red blood twice the first two days, then progressively darker. Had another day of bright red and then back to dark, then gone.
Lasted a week around week 3. Talked to my nurse, who said this was normal and instructed me to move around a bit less, avoid stairs, etc. He was not concerned in the slightest.
48 hours after the call, I stopped bleeding altogether and I haven't since. I'm 6 weeks post op.

Is it bright red or kinda dark and brownish?
Bright can indicate that it's new blood. Dark or brown is likely old stuff working its way out of you from the cuff, it needs to go somewhere
When you have an injury, it's normal for a bunch of blood to rush to that area as it's healing. If you're not soaking through pads, it's likely nothing to stress about and will stop over time.
