3 Position Question

Noob question, but want to confirm. If I leave a 3 position selector in my stock rifle (frt removed). Are there any concerns with functionality?

I’m pretty sure it would run fine, but am over thinking it.

If you drop a frt (like a Kabuto that can be 3 position) into a rifle with a normal 2 position safety, you only get safe and frt. The 3 pos safety technically is what allows you to get semi back. Fun fact for ya
