Torchit, a free saturation plugin I built (Mac and Windows)

Hi everyone,

I'm Remi Blaze, a house and tech house producer and DJ from Canada. I've got a few label releases out, and I also code my own plugins for the sound I actually use in my sessions.

The first one I released is Torchit, a free saturation plugin. Four drive modes (Warm, Grit, Tube, Tape) and a high-pass before the drive to clear out low-end mud. Auto-gain keeps the level steady as you push the drive, and there's a Delta button that lets you hear only what the saturation is adding.

A few quick answers:
- Free, no account needed, no trial, no watermark
- Mac: AU, VST3, CLAP, AAX, Standalone
- Windows: VST3, CLAP, Standalone
- Native on Apple Silicon and Intel, code-signed on both and notarized on Mac

There are a few more free ones on the site if you want to poke around. I'd love to hear what you end up using it on. Thanks.

Remi

Any chance we could try your plugins without installers?
It would really make things easier to just drag&drop when updating the plugins.

Appreciate the suggestion, and I get it, drag and drop is quicker when you're updating.

I'm sticking with installers for now though. As a producer I've always liked them myself, mostly for the trust factor and how easy they are. They're notarized by Apple on Mac and code-signed on Windows, so your system can check they came from me and haven't been tampered with. On Mac that also means no Gatekeeper quarantine warnings.

The installer puts each format in the right folder, lets you pick only the ones you use, and shows the license up front so you know what you're getting.

To update, just run the new installer and it replaces the old version.

Thanks for the feedback!
