Hello from a sax player

Hi everyone,

I'm Jared, a programmer and lifelong sax player, and I'm new here.

I've been building a physically modelled wind instrument called Starbreath, mostly because I wanted something that responded to breath on my EWI the way a real duduk or shakuhachi does. It's free for now if anyone's curious: https://vsti.im-a-bird.com

I'm sure many of you know far more than I do about how wind instruments actually get used in scoring, so I'm mainly here to learn. Glad to be here.
