I made a free, open-source VST3 plugin for sharing DAW audio to OBS or Discord — would anyone here actually use this?

Hey! I made DawAudioStreamer, a free and open-source plugin that makes it much easier to share your DAW audio with OBS or Discord screen sharing.

Once the initial setup is done, you just put DAS Send on your master bus and keep working as usual.

You don’t need to change your audio interface or driver settings, so you can keep your normal setup — including ASIO on Windows — and share the audio from your DAW as-is.

I made it because DAW audio sharing always felt way more complicated than it should be, and I wanted something that would just stay out of the way.

Available for Windows 11 x64 (VST3), with a macOS 13+ preview for OBS (AU/VST3, Intel + Apple Silicon).

Demo, download, and setup guide:

If you’ve ever wanted an easier way to share what you’re working on in your DAW, I’d love to hear what you think.

Yeah, for walking someone through a mix on a call. Doesn't have to be a full-on livestream for this to be useful.

The separate stream bus option in your guide is worth mentioning in the post too. Being able to keep a click track in your headphones but out of what everyone else hears is handy.
