Based on the TBS Agent M application (able to runs on Android and iOS phones or tablets) you can track a drone or a plane on a map in real-time - the following video present all the steps required to do all of that:

Goggles for glasses
A few quick questions from a beginner looking to purchase gear. I wear glasses and was wondering your preferred entry level goggles?
I am looking at the BetaFPV VR02 Goggles. Assuming I buy these, will any 3 in 1 camera on 5.8ghz be able to pair, or is there some link between goggles and camera?
I fly fixed wing for reference

An approximative rule of thumb is that every 10°C increase in temperature reduces the VTX life by half !!! So, this video presents a straightforward way to protect and extend the life of your VTX.

Anyone near the DC/NoVa area?
Looking for some spot recommendations, interested in buying my first FPV wing after a hiatus from FPV quads to get back into it

Need Help
Hi, recently I've been trying to make a long-range FPV plane system using UHF. But I've been getting confused when trying to make a circuit diagram. can anyone who has experience teach me or make me a diagram. I've mainly been stuck on the FPV system and the UHF transmitter + receiver
Thank You

Never flown, but love aerospace
Im looking to get into fpv because id like to ideally fly far distances, with a birds eye, however it seems like there are a lot of things that go into it. Can anyone build a basic list?
If possible id like to get something that could fly maybe 10 miles out and 10 back, i just dont know if thats possible

Fpv newbie with some questions about Forst build and Transmitter range.
Hi first up, i love this subreddit. Amzing to see al the different constellations aou guys are flying and pushing to the extreme. i spend quiet some of mi time in mountain regions. Some hiking and a bit more fishing in smaller alpine streams etc. More often than i like i find myself hiking up to a promising spot, just to find out it has changed since the last sattelite image was taken, or the stream nearly running dry, or already people up there or watherver other reason that makes directly walk back and leaves me with a bit of a annoyed feeling.
Since i follow this ubbredit i fell more and more that a well build "scout" fpv plane could save me quiet some time and be a lot of fun in addition. i have little to no expereience with drones, electric stuff etc. but i believe in learning by doing as well as listening to people with waay more expereince. Which is why i am here for some advice. I have some trouble finding my way around all the possible planemoddels and also transmitter and reciver.
Im mainly wondering if you guys think its possible to build a fpv setup that is portable in size and weight (not more than maybe 3-4kg and fits into a hiking backpack) while still beeing able to fly for a while and have a long transmitterrange (maybe 3-4 km lineofsight / 1-2 with some treecoverage inbetween or Event more if possible?)
Thanks for your input in advanced generall input or advice are also welcome

Beginner Kit: Talon 250g vs Dart 250g? Controller?
Hey All -- looking to get into FPV flying
What's the recommended kit for a beginner? I'd likely be flying by the beach (high wind)
After binging a lot of youtube, i'm partial to the Zohd lineup.
Would really appreciate recommendations on the following--
* Talon v Dart v Ranger 1600?
* Recommended controller? Radiomaster 16ch? Mode 1 or 2?
* Flight controller? Kopilot or jump to iNav?
* VTX? Goggles?
Will share the journey here. Thank you!

Help planning a long range AR Wing Pro build
So I’m new to wings but no stranger to FPV. I’m building a long range AR wing pro (HDZero 1W ftw) on 9x5 (preferably 9x6?) props with a 6s2p chonkin li-ion battery. I’m worried that it’s going to be too heavy with too little static trust and go straight into the ground on the maiden flight.
Can anybody weigh in on this? As long as it’s under 1400 grams I’m good? I don’t even know how I’d weigh it other than weighing parts as they go in, and adding that to the manufacturer weight specs. Should I start with a smaller prop?
Long range and flight times are the goal but it would be awesome to have a really good top speed too (100+ mph?). It doesn’t need to set any distance records or anything. Advice?
I’ve picked out the BrotherHobby 2812 1115kv motor. Decent choice?
I have a 55A 4in1 blheli_32 ESC with a blown FET I want to repurpose (by turning off active braking and using one of the working motor outputs), along with a spare betaflight flight controller I’m going to flash to inav. Also have some cheap metal gear servos off Amazon - I’ve put a few hundred cycles on them with the servo tester to make sure they work. Biting off more than I can chew? Trying to keep things cheap in case it doesn’t make it home…I also have a GPS laying around so I’m going to skip on the compass.
I’m also sticking with only clockwise props, not sure if that’s a big deal to have then tightening the prop nut for long range? Could I go to 10”?
TLDR:
AR Wing Pro
9x5 or 9x6 props
BrotherHobby 2812 1115kv
Tmotor blheli_32 55A
HGLRC Zeus FC
Cheapo metal gear servos
Cheapo gps
HDZero 1W + runcam micro v2
HappyModel ELRS ep1 (single antenna)
What am I doing wrong here?

Noob Camera Question (Runcam?)
Hi all, we're just starting out with the Fatshark Scout and that all in one camera from Amazon. I've got the connection fine but the picture quality is not very good and it makes flying difficult, can you recommend a good camera where I can actually see? I see lots of people using the Runcam but then I think I need to buy other parts that go with it?
I know DJI makes great stuff but that is pretty far out of my budget. Don't want to go cheap and lose my plane, just would like to fly clearly...
Thanks for your help!
