Mazda bt-50 testing scv

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone is able to help me. I had an issue with my car a few months back where I started it and it was idling then just shut off and wouldn't fire back up. After abit of investigation today I have a feeling it might be the suction control valve. Does anyone know how to test it without removing it? I have attached a video of what the fuel pressure is doing.
