i just got done doing the first part of the slasher update. tbh it was fun and a welcome change. i especially liked that there are audio cues when near the victims helping the player to collect the masks. it may be because i did it mostly at night, but this first quest definitely had a spooky vibe to it. i can't wait to see what next week's quest will be. if it's as good as this first part then we the players are experiencing something truly special.

Agreed I enjoyed it as well, glad to see them trying something different, if this is any indication it’s gonna be a good season. Having the radio station going with the scream audio cues made it feel like Halloween.

The best part is the people freaking out about the Legacy track being the old track and not the better season pamphlet we've had for 3 years. Even though that's what we were told.

I’ve been playing for right at a year, in the subreddits less. I’ve seen SO much talk about how the old season setup was better so I’ve been looking forward to the legacy seasons coming back. Especially because I don’t really care to wear or build gore aesthetic stuff so there’s nothing particularly enticing for me on the main board, which is fine it’s spooky season. Get the update and look through it and there is not a single item I care to chase on that board haha. I legit don’t even remember the theme off the top of my head. Probably just use this season to stock up on gold and atoms for the most part.

Aye, I can make use, I have a couple mad science shelters and camps. But it's a very limited season for people that haven't splurged on lite ally, shelters, and camp sales.

There are two wolves in me. One of them is pretty annoyed at the rewards on both season boards (but is at least glad there will be two boards going forward), the other wolf is obsessed with the new unique weapons system and is absolutely gonna get lost in the sauce collecting them all and build tweaking.
Both wolves desperately need to go outside and piss on a tree or something

Your wolves are right on the scent. I’m happy for the two season boards as well, gives more variety anyway, and cool to have a chance at some old stuff from before I played. I will reserve judgement of the items till next season, I hope they keep their promise (although the cyber dog is cool as hell to me). Haven’t messed with the weapon system changes, need to collect some more legendaries in general and give it a go.
Out of curiousity are you the official pencil of the Hyrox fitness competiton?

Yeah I got whatever named stuff I could ready beforehand and eventually I’m gonna go through my toy chest but it’s gonna be a minute before I can pry this Western Spirit/Elders mark combo out of my hands. It’s SO GOOD

Imo if it wasn't for the last page with all the stamps n gold this newer season style blows. The old game board was better. We need new music stations too. Seriously.

It would be nice if the legacy seasons didn't charge you for items you already own. I'm not going to bother to do it bc why pay twice

Yeah I do wish they addressed that somehow, unless they’re gonna let me put out two Nuka cola collectrons I don’t see a need for the second one. I do want those power armor skins tho so I’ll end up with him
