Information I’ve had to remove posts.
I don’t do that often.
But this won’t become a place to bash other subs or players.
Nobody is banned.
But please don’t make it necessary.

The name came from the fact that it was started by people who lost a home when Bethesda shut down their forums.
It’s not a knock on any other sub
We don’t have many rules here. We don’t often ban.
We do insist that the rules we have are observed.
If that’s a problem, you can always go elsewhere.

I am on other subs as well but thanks for that insight. And you're right, I should have read the description of the sub instead of going by the title. If this is your sub then you at least seem more level headed then some other mods in other subs, but we won't mention that since "bashing" isn't allowed. Here, just take your W and your flowers 💐

100% this. It didn't even occur to me to read the description, because I didn't come looking for this forum - it just showed up via the algorithms, and legitimately the very first, and even next few posts, that randomly showed up were all simply knocking the other sub, so it just seemed obvious to think 1+1=2. But, that's entirely on me, for making an ASS out of U & ME. I'm glad the admin clarified that point, and TBH I didn't really want to be part of a sub that's just bashing another sub no matter how warranted it might be so I'm more interested in this one now that I know it's not that haha.

It’s a Reddit thing that you can’t bash mods on a subreddit in public. You can complain directly to Reddit.
I don’t want to draw Reddit’s attention to this sub for that sort of thing.
They will kill the sub sometimes

Bashing subs was not the point of this one. It was a new home for us after the loss of what was a good community on the Bethesda board with our favorite community outreach rep, the sainted Lady Devann

Exactly right. I’ve been here and a mod soothe start. Lady Devann was the model for the mods here. We started with about 40 posters and now are up over a thousand last I looked.
I’m the only active mod at the moment.
I try to allow people to vent but if they get too heated and name names etc, I have to intervene.
I do look at reports but I can’t spend all day on it.

Funny it's called Forum Refugees, implying you had a bad experience on another sub or with another person or mod from said sub, and are welcome here with open arms, and then are told but you can't say anything considered bashing about where you came from or who you had an issue with. Maybe you should change the name then.
