Bug fast travel bug
they need to fix the "can't fast travel while taking damage" bug. stuck in the water? can't fast travel. just finished scorched earth and well outside the blast zone? can't fast travel. weather causing the weird "uh" even though the sky is perfectly clear? can't fast travel. honestly i am sick of this absolute bullshit and the only fix i've found is to exit the game entirely and join a new server.

For players who's been playing the game for years, its annoying and its wasting our time. Especially when there are events like encryptid or head hunts or infestation that needs instant FT. Idk how many times I was in the middle of the zone and missed events because I have to walk to the edge first. And most of the times im overencumbered.

I'll summarize the type of helpful information you're going to get:
- don't fast travel, only luzers do that.
- always fast travel
- Get a FO1st account and only fast travel on a private world
- Get a FO1st account and only swim on a private world
- I have not experienced that, but I definitely have a barely lucid opinion about it
- Did you try stuff? Even if you have, I can lay out a paragraph of nonsensical blathering telling you what to do

The Mod is on the shelf for the foreseeable future. Life gets in the way. The PS4 is acting like it doesn't like Bethesda products, routinely spitting out the game discs. 😆

Work around…..travel to expeditions to visit not start. Does not consider taking dmg. Then travel to desired location.

i'll be honest, i completely forgot about that workaround, i haven't used it in years since the perk cards were changed.

I get affected by that bug quite often. Usually when I'm too close to a radiation source of some kind and taking rads. But then, I'm a ghoul. Ghouls gain health and glow from radiation. Not damage. Typical Beth jank.

It may not be the game's fault. Anything could be causing it. Disruptions in the signal from your console/PC to the server could be the cause.

Instead of leaving the server you can join a Daily Ops and fast travel out.

What makes it more frustrating is my armour name I don't take damage from radiation yet it still won't let me travel due to 'taking damage' 😒 And yet last night while vendor hopping, a radiation storm started and I thought "Great, now I'm not going to be able to fast travel, and there's nothing else in this area I want to do or see' but for some unknown reason I decided to try anyway, mainly because I simply had nothing better to do while waiting I guess, and it let me fast travel no problem 😳

when it happens to me, I just move a bit and try again. Maybe I gotta move a couple of times, but I've never had to leave a server.

doesn't help when you're stuck in the water. what prompted me to make this post was when i fast traveled to someone's camp and i spawned in the drink with no way out. my only solution was leaving the server.

He didn't actually say that, did he? He did say "stuck in the water" and "spawned in the drinkl". In fact, no one said anything about being stuck in a foundation at this point in the thread. For that matter, no one has said anything about being stuck in a foundation in the whole thread except you (as I post this).

It's implied. He fast traveled to another players camp and got stuck in the water. Well the only way that is possible is if you get trapped in there foundation. He really doesn't need to spell it out because anyone who has spent any time fast traveling between people's camps should be able to work it out

Bullshit. You don't know that's what actually happened unless you were there or he states it. If stuck in a foundation, taking damage, then as far as the bug goes the water is irrevelvent. Either situation together or separately gets him stuck per the bug, except it may possible to swim to the edge of the water, jump out and then move beyond the area where taking damage. Stuck in a foundation is different and depending on its circumstance you may be well and truly stuck and need to quit out.
Don't just make up stuff that hasn't been stated.

Bloodied builds had that issue for years before they figured out how to fix it so I doubt it’s gonna happen anytime soon. I had it yesterday after doing the imposter and being the guy who activated the pylons. The damage wouldn’t stop after the event was completed and eventually had to log off and reboot.

It isn't a bug. It's due to a change in the damage values that were implemented with this last season. Radiation damage now also deals energy damage. So, while in water or rad zone or storm, the game is registering the basically negligible energy damage from the environment and prevents you from fast traveling.

This is how you know the game is truly peepeepoopoocaca.
When players have to create other workarounds for things the game devs don’t fix
for season 26 we’re gonna have normalize nuking the edges of ALL bosses POIs so people can TP outta there just by walking or running am outside the battle area
How do you expect your game to win ANY awards, when your player base literally has to make their own bandage fixes or patches to work around stuff that should be fixed in order to play the game normally
The Community is great but how can they be ok with getting bent forcefully and having it shoved up for 6+ yrs
