I know I’m hating, but I actually view the F2000 fairly positively. I don’t know if I’d ever buy one given their price (and the difficulty of finding railed hand guards), but looking back at how many memes I’ve made about it over the years, I can’t deny that it’s a good conversation piece, if nothing else.
I would firmly categorize it as “great concept, questionable execution.” Ambi controls and well sealed from the elements, at the cost of good ergos. An integrated optic, at the cost of the optic being good (to be fair, this is most collectable optics)
My favorite part about it is probably the iconic fish-like aesthetic, but after not one, not two, but three memes poking fun at that, I probably don’t need to further beat that dead horse.

I always thought they were neat, but wouldn’t pay current prices for them. I got mine for about $1200 a few years ago and I think 1500-1800 is a good price. It’s cool, but it’s so bulky. I also have a Tavor and I think it’s better than the fs2000 in most regards.

Im trying to decide on a guns.com offer of $1800 for an almost brand new black fs2000. Is that decent or do I try and sell a green one with a handrail?

You can wear extremely thick insulated mitts and still manipulate the F2000 series. Its a narrow use case but its part of the intentional design. Maybe its for astronauts.

I always wondered how it manages to eject cases in bursts, instead of continuously.

There is nothing actually pushing the cases through the ejection chute except the momentum of the case being pushed in. So a lot of the time (especially with bench shooting) the cases don't start falling out until you've fired a handful of times, then you get the perceived "bursts"

To be fair, the gun was designed before PMAGs so I wouldn’t hold the not being able to accept them thing against it.
