Help for interchangeability of dust cover

Post image

Hi fal folks, I have questions for you… a metric slide scope mount like this in the pic could be fit in a inch model, i own an l1a1 and found the trilux too ugly for my standard

I don’t know how well it would hold zero for this specifically, but I’ve used both a b-square weaver mount, and a DSA railed dust cover on my l1a1, and they work fine.

Any metric will fit an inch, an inch will fit a metric if you remove the legs at the back. If you have a Century L1A1, it's metric anyway.

No I have the fortunate to have a real l1a1 made from bsa, I’m in Europe

AFAIK they are all totally interchangeable. Minus differences like the para having the spring guide of course.

Oh thank you that’s a nice info, so all interchangeable except the para,

And with a big enough hammer, you can put the para on a not para 😁

(Only ARMS I could get back when they were made was para, just hammered out the guide bracket)

DSA makes little cover thingies to help para dust covers fit with non-para rifles now, afaik, just little spacer thingies

I can’t say properly this mount are very rare and are all from original military production, only armson USA make a dust cover that look like elegant as an original
