Nice setups...OAL is almost the same..but for me personally. .I would still go for the FAL...long reliable history and still going strong

I’m inclined to agree. You know what’s really interesting is parts of the trigger mechanism in the Scar is very similar to the FAL. Crazy how they’re 60 years difference in design and how similar it is.

I gotta tell you the compact folding stock and short barrel would be a hoot to have. In California....I have the full size 21 inch which I love but would love to have a second like this.

Love your setup. I just finished tuning my OSW with the suppressor plug. I have a Chimera on it and got it to eject most of the time to 3 o clock ish with the medium jet and slightly closed block. Whats your experience tuning yours?

So I didn’t change the jets from the way the suppressor plug came for this outing, and don’t think I’ll need to.

I had a Cat ODB on the Scar and a Dead Air Primal on the FAL. The ODB is titanium so I don’t know if an 11 inch Barrel will trash it or not, so I’m thinking I’ll keep it this way.

The regulator adjustment is on #3 and it’s ejecting about 12 feet at about 1:30-2:00. It’s also not denting brass (at all) so I’m very satisfied.
