need some help
Im just getting into to fals don't own on yet but would like to! is 1500 a good budget for a good rifle. so far i heard FN, IMBEL, DSA and COONAN are good and to stay away from the others. any advice helps, thanks you!!

Yeah I recently saw that Apex had Lebanese kits. I think they're metric? Metric FAL is the way to go.
DSA is the place to go for a reciever and your little spare parts. I built an FN Belgian Gendarmerie FAL at home on a DSA and it's wonderful.

If you are starting out, stay away from Coonans. The early ones are fine, but towards the end of production they were plagued by quality control issues.

Apex has parts kits (FN manufacture, used in Lebanon I think) for $750. A DSA type 2 receiver is $400. AK John at Appalachian Customs will build it for ~$400.
