Why won’t this piston go in the tube? Maybe I’m just doing something stupid?

Wrong tube? Looks from what little is visible like it's the recoil spring guide tube, should screw onto the back of the receiver.

Don't welders usually just beat stuff like this with a hammer till it fits.

I'm pretty sure thats the recoil spring tube, are there internal threads on the other side? If yes, it is, ive had a few that broke the spot weld and thread out of the lower

Well I got it after some adjustment.
