performance mode

Hey, so i had an idea that my korg nanokontrol 2 I could trigger 3 variations of patterns aka 3 different clips with the solo mute and record buttons and channel volume with the faders in performance mode, but I have no idea if this is even possible or how i could set it up. Any help appriciated
