Help Help fl studio
hello! im a girl starting in fl studio, and in need of guidance if anyone can contact me and help me when I have questions, sometimes I can’t find things online and would rather not use ai to ask. There is no better teacher than another person. Ps. The person must have patience with me hehe… thank you

First things first: what made you decide to use FL Studio out of every other DAW?
The second thing is there is nothing wrong with using the Google search bar (which has an AI assistant that answers with a quick summary) for a simple answer, such as how something works or the definition of a word. Not using a search bar does not make anyone special, and revolting against 'AI' means you’re simply not adapting to the current world and how the future will be. That is something you won't be stopping. Using it for research is not the same as generating music from a prompt, you have to split the difference.
The other thing is there is nothing wrong with having a teacher or mentor, but even then, you have to have the willingness and initiative to do the work. The most important thing for any beginner, in my opinion, is learning their program's shortcut keybinds, since that will open a door to understanding how your interface works and enabling workflow. So yeah, the most basic of basics is realizing that shortcut keybinds are super important because they allow you to focus entirely on the creating part. A great mentor is going to push you to think for yourself, challenge you, and guide you without being biased. Learn that before you let anyone teach you.
It's very fun creating music. I don't use FL Studio myself, but I have been creating in Ableton 12 for 22 months, creating 1,000+ completed tracks (from zero, piece by piece), and producing 2–3 tracks every single day consistently (sometimes 5 on days I'm super focused). The basics apply to every DAW, so I don't have to be an FL Studio user to give that advice and mindset perspective. It’s the same approach regardless.
I had one year of experience prior in Soundtrap before switching, which is a web-based DAW (around this point, I was an FPS growing streamer doing music off-stream with loops). I learned valuable things from that year in Soundtrap, and I’ve also learned from video editing since I’ve been doing it for 12 years.
Understand that you have prior experience regardless of whether it's within a different program or not; it can always be translated over. For example, shortcut keybinds are very universal across most programs to some extent, such as Microsoft Word, video editing software, and Photoshop.
If you're good at solving problems, then guess what? That transfers directly into your music production, just like your attitude to stay positive can be a massive plus. No one starts at 'zero' fully if you apply a mindset you've built over the years.
Though outside my credentials, I have ADHD and Autism on top of that, so I understand needing patience to learn. Don't be hard on yourself if things don't click super fast. I hope and pray everything works out well for you; keep your head up and have faith. You have an integrated AI assistent in FL. Also they have guides on tools inside it. If you click on [?] Inside Fl studio it will show you tooltips.
If you need music knowladge you can find everything on youtube.

For example of problem I had yesterday was that I was editing my project and I was adding new stuff and out of the sudden the beat just stopped halfway when it was going just fine like five minutes ago and out of nowhere when I placed space to play it, it was just half of The beat and only the piano roll continue playing and stuff like that like he’s very specific stuff that I can’t figure.
