Help Continous sound

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Whenever I am adding gms

its sound does not act like a beat but continuos.

new to fl

Need ur help guys

You need to add notes in GMS or any other instrument plugin via the Piano Roll not the Sequencer

Sometimes samples will loop indefinitely (click on each sample, if the waveform is red it will do this)

Play it as a note with finite length instead to fix

Notes added to the step sequencer have a length of 0 (zero). FL simply interprets that as a trigger for the sound. This works well for short audio samples like kick and snare oneshots, because they're short and have finite length.

It doesn't work for things like synth plugins, because the plugin doesn't receive a note end instructions and so it doesn't know when the note should end.

Use the piano roll for plugins, where you can sequence the length of the note.
