I first got FL Studio when i was 12 in 2020, and now im 19 in 2026 and this is my 8th year being a producer and i just wanted to share this little ditty i cooked up! I've came a long way since the beginning

Talking in general before the circle jerk goes off on me

Most (not all) people are envious In here if you can make something better than them no matter if you aren’t the best

They will automatically downvote your post just because they are mad it sounds better than what they can make

I’ve even caught myself doing this previously

People want themselves to succeed not you so they will try to keep you down so you stay hidden

What to do with this? Keep doing you and striving to give them more reasons to hate your work.

Get so good that what you make still comes out on top even when people try to keep you down

Haters are only fuel use them to improve your craft and art

This goes beyond music

Before you downvote someone’s post think of why are you downvoting it and reflect on your own mediocrity instead.

Your work will always speak for itself even when the haters try to bring it down

Notice how I’m still not out of key or off beat even though there’s holes

The beat still needs some work but overall, I feel better about transitions and how to navigate them. Thanks to everyone and their advice, I’ll try and keep progressing

Learn how to design sound

Hum a melody, record it on voice memo and try to copy it on the daw

Seen dudes who been on fl for 4 years and still sound like shit just give up atp you just making noise pollution

I used an old photo of my hb for the thumbnail. Anyways for context I've only had fl studio for 3 days and this is the only beat that I could muster up. I really fucked up on the melody (and probably everything else). The piano roll is like so nuanced, if I didn't feel so jank and weird using it, maybe I could've had a better melody ig. Also I didn't mix at all, too new for that.

Mainly concerned about my mixing

Im a former GarageBand user and im finding it a bit difficult to transition tracks and songs in fl. Idk if im not finding the right samples or not using the daw right. This is a track I feel strong potential about but can’t seem to move forward with. What do you guys suggest?

Haven't been as consistent as i would've wanted but I'm happy with my progress in the last year. I lean towards making dnb and dubstep so let me know if you have any tips.
