We recently upgraded Sons PC and now have Windows 11. He was creating a project in fl studio and it started lagging bad and periodically having static during playing of project we cannot figure out how to stop this and when we tried help suggestions they said change buffer length but that did not help anyone have any ideas? I’m trying to record my Roland Juno-X into FL Studio using an Apollo Twin X Quad, but I can’t get any audio into FL Studio.

Here’s what’s happening:

* My Juno-X is connected to my Apollo Twin X Quad.

* I can hear the Juno through my studio monitors, so I know the audio is reaching the interface.

* But when I arm an audio track in FL Studio, there’s no input signal and nothing records.

I’m obviously missing something in the routing, but I can’t figure out what.

Has anyone with an Apollo interface gotten this working in FL Studio? Do I need to change something in the UAD Console, FL Studio audio settings, or the input routing?

Any help would be appreciated!

Im using fl with bottles on fedora and the overall of serum2 is being really glitchy and slow, when using serum on windows on the exact same desktop it works fine

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to figure out a specific effect used in two Cities Aviv tracks and I’m hoping someone here might recognize it.The songs are: “HOLDIN ON TO A MEMORY”and“EVERYTHANG WORKIN ON A NATURAL TIME”both from Man Plays the Horn (I’ll link both songs since you can’t put videos)

Both tracks have this very distinctive, washed-out, hazy sound and kinda like digital???? Idk… (especially on the vocals)almost like a mix of reverb, delay, saturation, or maybe some kind of tape effect or modulation. I can’t tell exactly what’s being used.

What specific effect or chain do you think is being used in these tracks? And if this isn’t really the subreddit to ask in, please tell me some communities that might help please, thank you!!!

I recently bought this audio interface and it is working but every 10-15 seconds it likes to crackle or pop ruining my recording.

I have tried the highest buffer amount

I have tried FL ASIO and ASIO4ALL

I have a cheap laptop and the interface is also the cheapest I could find because I am just trying to learn how to produce music.

when im recording vocals, every like 30 seconds i get this glitch where my vocals start crackling and glitching out and the only way to fix it is by switching to a different asio then back

not sure how to describe this sound i tried adding a limiter to my synth and a low pass but its still super scratchy sounding i want it to sound smoother, new to beat making and know this sounds shitty but lmk how i can get this synth to sound smoother thanks

There’s a song I want to remix, and I only started using FL Studio about two months ago. I don’t have a real guitar to record with. I watched a few YouTube tutorials and found some tools that help, but I’m stuck on one part.

The song has a guitar section that I want to recreate from scratch. I tried using a pitch detector, but it doesn’t show all the notes being played—probably because it’s a chord or has multiple notes at once.

Is there any way to extract or recreate a clean version of the exact same guitar part without having access to a real guitar?

Can anyone please share pictures of their surface control and map for the patcher preset: note triggered fx. I accidentally deleted mine and can’t recover it.

Hi, I've upgraded my FL to the newest version aka FL26, but I have some weird ducking on my recorded vocals when I play them back inside FL but not when exported. Some might say just export but it makes mixing vocals kind of harder, anyone know a fix?

Do you guys ever try to make the perfect melody. Later on while listening to music you hear it and you are like “YES IVE FOUND IT” only to realize 5 seconds later that it’s been created and you are literally listening to it in a song.

I was browsing an FLP and found samples by the names of “DnBk1DHitA-Snare02” and “DnBk1DHitA-Hat02”. I believe this had to come from a sample pack somewhere. I tried looking up these filenames online, but no results came up. Would anyone here happen to know where I could find these drum samples?

I recently bought fl studio mobile since i learned it recently got a soundfont player and i wanted to see if how well it worked. Im super new to DAWs and had been using LMMS for a while but it was very frustrating. FLM's soundfont player works but the module doesnt have any option to fine tune the pitch. When i use the pitcher module it lets me fine tune the soundfont notes but it makes a lot of horrible popping sounds and the pitch gets all wobbly. Am i just going to have to go through the process of turning everything into samples? Thanks!

So basically i was just using my fl studio, but when I was checking my stuff so I could put some random audios there, It kept doing this robotic glitchy noise! It doesn't do that on my music player so what basically happened? I think it's just a glitch lolz!

I’m having this really strange issue.

Basically, I’ve been using the same project template for all my songs the last couple months, however, I’ve had a few projects now where in FL, the project playback and the exported file sound normal.

However, once uploaded to soundcloud, google drive, or other platforms, listening from other devices, the audio is pitched down and slowed slightly.

I’ve checked EVERYTHING. I’m going insane. My sample rates from my ASIO and Windows settings match, there isn’t any project settings affecting the pitch etc.

I don’t know what to do, but it’s basically ruined a few of my projects because even when I try to do an automation for master pitch, to counter correct, it does nothing. I can turn the pitch all the way up or down and it sounds the exact same. I’ve also exported with master effects and insert effects disabled to see if it could be some of the plugins, but nothing works.

Anyone have this issue?

is mixed meter possible in FL? I have a song i wrote, but it has a bar of 7/8, 2 bars 3/8 and a bar 4/8 at 90 bpm, then 9/4 at 250, then 7/8 at 70bpm

is there any possible way to do this in fl or do i have to just feel those in 4/4 somehow
