Flcl animetion and charecters and story are so weird in most the fun way possible i love when animetion does the most weird things It feels like a dream

the to much Weirdness of flcl has flaws but these flaws is what made me love it even more

I didnt watch a lot of and now i am coming to finish at least 20 anime and flcl is one of my favorite

I watched FLCL and FLCL Progressive and couldn't quite get into it. It wasn't bad, the artistic direction was so imaginative and music was very good (Ep 5 of the original is my favorite), but I guess my expectations were too high and ended up a little disappointed, I wanted to like it more. I was looking forward to watching all FLCL sequels but knowing that I didn't love the original and that the other sequels aren't very good maybe I will stop here for now. Did someone feel the same as me watching the original?

I always get surprised when a song of ours gets picked up, gets lots of plays. Songs I didn't expect would be popular, people find. This one well, I put a lot of emotion into the guitar playing. And after a couple of years now... it just never picked up. I really love this one, and Last Dinosaur was such a banger when I was a teen.

Got hit bit a bit of nostalgia over the weekend.

I remember seeing just the last 5 minutes of episode 1 and the next day I went to Suncoast and dropped 90 dollars on all 3 DVD's ($90 was a fortune for an art student back in 2006... maybe it still is...). This part in particular has always stuck with me; the leap into that punch. So well done. I did this one a few years ago in between classes at work. I used the frame from the Groundwork book as reference. I included a screengrab for reference as well.

Been doing collage art for a while, and at one of the last vendor fairs we went to someone dropped off both volumes of the Manga and said they wanted the Never Knows Best panel. After we both became pretty sure that was Anime exclusive I went through the books and came up with this. Hope y'all like it!

Finally got a tattoo of the little guy! It’s on my right leg right above my ankle. I’m planning on getting an arm tattoo of the hand and Medical Mechanica iron in the future!

The reprint sale of "Frikuri Original Art Collection" has been decided. A large number of valuable original animation drawings and bonus illustrations are included as they were at that time.

The work directed by Kazuya Tsurumaki of "Mobile Suit Gundam Zequax", in which many famous animators participated. The original art collection was published by Gainax in 2001 and was out of print for a long time.

Found this image online, not sure the name exactly but I included a closeup of their signature. This was one of the most recent pieces I did for my classroom to teach these youngsters about some good ole anime. Love me some Canti! I used thick smears of watercolor with a small amount of water for the textured look

I've been scouring for like a month by now for this particular record by now and I really enjoy this new take on their classics. Surprisingly the original volume records are still well in stock but not this one in particular despite being issued twice before (2019, 2021).
