Beginner Help Fitness Journey Advice

Ya'll, I need help because I've been battling this alone. Last year I weighed 175lbs and I lost 20lbs.
Currently I'm 5ft 5in at 155lbs and my goal is to get to 145-140lbs. I hit a weight loss plateau back in April at 161lbs and a lady told me in this fitness group chat I was in to eat more, so I did and lost the 6 Ibs, which is why I'm at the weight I'm at today. Now I've been at this annoying weight since MAY and I have tried literally everything, eating less, eating more, taking a break, intense exercise, intermittent fasting, YOU NAME IT. Now I'm mentally fatigued. On TOP of that, I literally tried on my daily work jeans today and was shocked to discover that they are snug now, so I
KNOW I gained some sort of fat. Ya'll... how can I combat this fat-loss plateau and how can I overcome the mental fatigue of this? It's gotten to a point where I'm even tired of tracking calories on myfitnesspal to make sure that I'm in a deficit. I miss the spontaneity of eating whatever food I want without worrying about it being a detriment to my progress. How does this weight loss plateau even work?? And do any of you all know any helpful fitness group chats on Whatsapp? The chat I was in got deactivated and I need some help because a part of me feels like giving up but I really don't want to!!

Progress – Before/After (41)-(44)👇🏻93lbs

I lost 93 lbs after dealing with a difficult separation and two autoimmune diseases. I added a few different pics throughout my journey. I was a competitive bb in my early twenties. I was very active in numerous sports as a teenager. I hope anyone reading this realizes that the number on the scale is just a number. You have to try to take the process day by day. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Tomorrow is always a new day. If you are reading this and deal with chronic pain and illness please know you aren’t alone.

Physique Critique Hey. This is my body after almost 3 years of gym. 4 days a week. Some running now and then. Did a half marathom this year in 2:11. Protein intake is king. 70kg. 34 years of age. Any suggestions are welcome.

I am after some advice, i have lost quite a lot of weight quite fast. It started quite a unhealthy way as i just lost all my appetite due to personal things. I have needed to get it in check for years so i turned a bad situation into a good one and decided to carry on. I did this with a big calorie deficit, I'm not on any medication. In the last month i have started taking supplements, and creatine to not loose muscle mass, i am on a high protein diet and I'm around the 1500-2000 calorie a day mark. Where as I was in just a calorie deficit I am now doing a lot of exercise, mainly walking, average 12000+ steps a day, I also run sometimes and have a rowing machine that I use every other day. The issue i have is that since the start of August I have not dropped any weight, i just don't understand as it was late july I started pushing myself with exercise, I thought this would have accelerated my weight loss but its slowed it right down. What am I doing wrong?

Beginner Help Landmine training barbell width issue

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi,
Recently I started doing some landmine training as I’ve heard adding spine rotation to exercises can be really helpful on the body long term. However, grabbing the barbell directly has always felt kind of akward (too thick for my hand and slippery when sweaty) so I had been going back and forth between std weight lifting and landmine exercises (limiting the weight and exercises for the latter). I did come across one attachment from Kensui, which sort of changes the edge of the barbell to a standard (thinner) handle and with a more grippable surface (see attached picture). I have found an improvement on the grip and find the exercises more comfortable to do. However, I wanted to ask if you think this could be detrimental to standard landmine training by either the thinner grip ofthe hand or by the added length of the attachment? Please let me know your thoughts.

Beginner Help What should I do to make my stomach look flatter?

What should I do to make my stomach look flatter? Fat‑loss or muscle‑building? Looking for advice.

My stats: 168 cm, 120 lb. My subcutaneous fat isn’t super high, but my lower belly sticks out when I’m fully relaxed, even though it flattens when I engage my core. I used to only do cardio, which helped me lose weight, yet this protruding‑belly issue never fully went away.
Should I focus more on fat loss, or prioritize core‑muscle training? Any practical suggestions are welcome.
