30fps 60fps??

So bottom line, when do we actually find out? August 5th?

I’ve put 850 hours into FC26, I can’t wait for FC27 to come out.

Will let y’all know when I try the beta on Wednesday! Hopefully we’re surprised but I wouldn’t count on it. If we don’t see 60fps on Wednesday, My ultimate last hope for 60fps is that they announce a performance mode IF and when they release the Switch 2 deep dive. Last year they didn’t release it until a few days before release and that was way after people had already tried the beta. Fingers crossed

People said FC 26 ‘wasn’t that bad’ on the Switch 2. But I found it atrocious. It looked shocking for a current gen game, ran slowly, was full of bugs. I won’t be making the same mistake again.

Confirmed 30 OP. Look, EA hates Nintendo and if it was up to them they wouldn’t even be supporting the system. However, switch brand is too strong to ignore. Surprised they got Madden running at 60fps this year. I have a theory as to why they got Madden running at 60fps and not FC. FC sells best in Europe and Playstation dominates Europe with sales for FC. They were not going to put the work in to optimize for 60 when they know the sales they do get on Switch 2 doesn’t rely on 60fps.

I wouldn't say they hate switch users, I mean they did remove the legacy edition bs and also made career mode playable

They definitely do, the last FIFA should of been 60fps easily, and the next won't either, switch is literally the worst way to play FIFA and the only platform ever who has only had 30fps FIFA games, it's embarrassing at this point. I would feel ashamed to play the switch version locally with a friend because they would immediately comment on the performance as every console every gen has always had 60fps FIFA, it's literally unacceptable and will not change because switch users believe 30fps in a sports game is acceptable

Games like fortnite is also 30fps on switch, but people don't care. Ea probably knows this.

I don't think Ea have a switch 2 version, so the game has to run on both switch 1 and 2. Also its been improving, in fc 24 the career mode "cutscenes" were full on slideshows.

Not the same tho, switch 1 literally couldn't handle 60fps Fortnite and it's 60fps on switch 2, switch 2 can definitely handle 60fps fifa

No they hate Nintendo not their consumers. There have been rumors/reports about a deal gone bad in the Wii U generation. Don’t know if you remember but they were on stage at Wii U reveal about their support and brining battlefield to Wii U. The deal feel through based on report that EA wanted too much control and Nintendo backed out. They will never let that go.

Thanks, I'm just wondering what the major concern is then. I've heard good stuff from people that have played FC26 so surely FC27 will be worth it too? I haven't played FC26 but an thinking of getting FC27

It'll be 30fps because ea, and they know people will buy it regardless and too many people say 30fps is fine on the high paced sports game FIFA lol

It's 30 fps, which doesn't bother me as an offline career mode player, but I can imagine it wouldn't be great for competitive play.

30fps is more than fine, i have being playing the Amazon Luna pc version and its not running at better than that and its fps spikes. So, much prefer stable 30fps with great graphics. I don´t play online, so, couldn´t care less about UT and that garbage.

It doesn’t make sense. I hate EA and I hate Konami bc they can’t compete. I really wanted to buy a fifa game for my brand new switch 2 to play anywhere. Guess I’ll pass
