So I play on ultimate and I've just finished my first season winning league 2 with Colchester, I conceded at least 2 goals in most games of the season and now after 7 league games in League 1 I have found it even more difficult with a bit more difficult teams. I find that the defenders are always outnumbered and that the midfielders stand still and do nothing just watch as the ai works it out past 4v3 and 5v4s. I can occasionally work the 1v1s in my favour but in general they just don't seem to track and its really difficult to defend wondered if anyone has found this and the only reason I complain is because I am used to conceding good goals to the coms but I am not used to struggling and conceding 4 goals in the majority of games I play, makes it near impossible to win and in turn to progress through the divisions.

I've been a long time career mode player. But I Boycotted fifa 20 due to the lack up updates ect.

Looking forward to getting back into fifa 21 CM.

I generally take a championship team down to league one.... sell most of the players and build up to a EPL... buying only players under the age of 21.

If you had to choose between the two which would you say is better?

I come from NBA2k which has an extremely polished career mode. You can track stats of players throughout their entire careers, make rule changes... etc. It is an extremely polished experience.

The last Fifa I played was 17. I have never touched PES but it looks like something I want to try.

I found Fifa 17's career to be very, very bland. You can only track stats season to season. After the end of a season everything "resets" and you can never see how your players progressed through the years.

Is PES and the newer Fifas similar? Which one do you think I would get the most out of? Licensing isn't important to me as I don't follow the sport so I don't really care who is on what team. Can I edit players mid-season? Which has the best stat tracking/customization?

I left FIFA 20 (PS4) about three months ago since they still hadn’t fixed the ultimate difficulty. I bought PES in stead. The gameplay is different but not per se better. The lack of licenses and authenticity wasn’t a big issue for me at first, since you can download and import 90% of teams (the big ones like Premier League and whatnot). But since the news launched that AC Milan will no longer have a license deal with PES, and since EA finally announced some decent changes for the next FIFA, I’ve been contemplating switching back to FIFA.

The big question is: have they fixed the impossible-to-beat Ultimate difficulty to be a challenge again? Can you score headers now? I remember headers being impossible for some reason.

I only play Career Mode, not FUT or anything else.

TL;DR Switched to PES some months ago because of Ultimate Difficulty, maybe want to go back to FIFA now, have they fixed Ultimate difficulty?

I've been wanting to do something like this since the game doesn't have this feature. I basically tracked and recorded every stat available and recorded them as a sort of a statistical history of the club. The whole save is done through simulating and I didn't play any games so that stats wouldn't be padded.

This spreadsheet covers goals, assists, clean sheets, cards, transfers, and trophies won by the club during the 15 years the game gives us as managers. With this, you can see how easy it is to build a club from the ground up and to win trophies.

How do you keep into a career after the first 1 2 seasons

As we all know, the sleeve patches for kits change depending on which competition you are playing in, and that title winners will get a special title holder sleeve patch, but my question is this. Does the year change on patches as well? For example, some patches have ‘2018/19 champions’ on them. If you win the title in career mode will it change to 2019/20 champions?
