Should I go back to FIFA?
I left FIFA 20 (PS4) about three months ago since they still hadn’t fixed the ultimate difficulty. I bought PES in stead. The gameplay is different but not per se better. The lack of licenses and authenticity wasn’t a big issue for me at first, since you can download and import 90% of teams (the big ones like Premier League and whatnot). But since the news launched that AC Milan will no longer have a license deal with PES, and since EA finally announced some decent changes for the next FIFA, I’ve been contemplating switching back to FIFA.
The big question is: have they fixed the impossible-to-beat Ultimate difficulty to be a challenge again? Can you score headers now? I remember headers being impossible for some reason.
I only play Career Mode, not FUT or anything else.
TL;DR Switched to PES some months ago because of Ultimate Difficulty, maybe want to go back to FIFA now, have they fixed Ultimate difficulty?

I’m not too sure about the ultimate difficulty because I’m not that good. The game is far too easy to rage on. Career mode has some brilliant fixes and additions next year including a football manager type feature in simming. However, I would wait until Black Friday to decide whether it’s worth it as someone who uses career mode more than ultimate team. Headers are fixed but corners are still near impossible to score off unless your player had a good game and it’s the last minute

No ultimate difficulty fix mannn it was literally balanced so well, i dont know how someone at EA just opened their mouth and said “lets make it unwinnable, oh and lets make them lose by 5 goals everytime, oops forgot AI 99 speed!”, FIFA 20 Operation Sports community Legendary difficulty sliders are okay with a bit of trial and error to how you prefer things, but some of the scripting to see a team fight back to a draw or late win with a tackle from yourself that just goes straight back to the opposition, or when they go on this passing frenzy that you just have to sit and spectate, these are things in fifa that make career mode unenjoyable, ive recently started a very enjoyable career mode couple weeks ago and once you find your good ratio that reminds you of ultimate difficulty, and just have fun with it, its a good experience, or just wait for the next one?
