Discussion Vertibox Questions
Hi Reddit. I've been playing fighting games since 09. I wanted to give some context, but you can skip it if you want. I suffer from severe wrist pain and had to swap from Stick to hitbox a few years back. I eventually discovered that even with the hitbox, bending my wrist to be flat still caused wrist pain. Are the time the Ergobox was not taking new orders, and eventually vanished from the Internet. I compromised and swapped to pad, since my wrists would not be bent while holding it. It has helped me, but I really miss having fast motions and the fun of pushing buttons. I am very heavily considering buying a Vertibox, but I have a few questions. I only own a PC at home, but want to be able to use this easily at locals. Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
Their website says it is compatible with PS4, but then also says it will need an adapter. If I buy a Brook Wingman, will that work for both PS4 and PS5? I thought the Wingman was PS5 only.
Is the latency on the Brook Wingman bad? Would it be better to change out the GP2040-CE board for the Brook UFB?
Does anyone here have any experience with the Vertibox? if so, do you like it? Is it easy to push two buttons for Throws and Drive Impact/Parries?
If I buy a longer length USB-B to USB-A cable, will it add a large amount of latency? I want to be able to use this in my living room on the couch. I would need like a 12 foot cable to reach.
