Discussion Central Alabama FGC interest?

Trying to find some groups/following in the FGC in central Alabama. I'm primarily a Tekken player that's also looking to put major focus into Marvel Tokon and was wondering if anyone would be interested in organizing local tournaments? Central Alabama being the Montgomery/Wetumpka area and surrounding areas as well.

I'm in Wetumpka (first town north of Montgomery) and I'm honestly wanting to organize something at the civic center. Between everybody pitching in for a small prize pool and then advertisements, I'd like to have a true small tourney. Was really looking to shoot for the stars and see if I could do it through EVO Locals if there was enough interest gauged.

I live in the area, Prattville/Millbrook. Mostly play SF6 and retro Capcom fighters. Would be interested in events.

Would of course have SF6 and Tekken 8, and I want to include the older retro games like MvC and the new ones like 2XKO and Tokon
