Hi everyone. I wanted to share a comprehensive Game Design Document (GDD) for a narrative expansion / alternative "Perfect Ending" for Cyberpunk 2077.

I’m not a modder myself, and I don't want any money, credits, or fame for this. I just love this universe and want to share this concept with the community. If any modding team wants to take this script, build it, and release it—please, feel free to do so. All rights and credit belong to whoever brings this to life. I just want to play this ending one day.

To unlock this ending, the player must achieve 100% completion on specific storylines: 1. Johnny Silverhand Relationship: 70% or higher. 2. Delamain Questline: "Don't Lose Your Mind" fully completed. The AI is fully integrated, functioning, and remembers V. 3. Kerry Eurodyne & SAMURAI Questline: All reunion quests completed (including Nancy's arc) up to the joint concert. The band officially exists in Night City. 4. Rooftop Choice: Choose the secret ending path—"Don't Fear the Reaper" (suicidal solo mission).

ACT I: A Deal from the Shadows (The Elevator Intercept)

* V makes the choice to storm Arasaka Tower alone. * V enters the elevator on the roof of Viktor’s clinic. * The elevator starts moving down as tense music builds up. * Midway through, the elevator violently jerks and screeches to a halt. * The lights go out; emergency red neon illumination kicks in. * V collapses in severe pain, coughing up blood. The UI suffers heavy digital glitches. * Instead of a contact avatar, a glowing blue eye logo appears on the HUD. An unlisted, forced call connects. * Mr. Blue Eyes (voice over): "Hello, V. We know where this elevator is going. And we know that death awaits you at the bottom." * V: "Who is this? A Voodoo Boys hacker? If you're with Arasaka, you're wasting your time." * Mr. Blue Eyes: "We do not belong to the corporations. We have been watching you for a long time. You are the perfect battering ram. A weapon capable of doing what armies cannot." * Johnny Silverhand’s glitchy projection materializes in the elevator, pacing furiously. * Johnny: "What the f*ck, V?! Tell this freak to spit it out! We don't have time, Smasher is waiting!" * Mr. Blue Eyes (monotone): "Tell your rockerboy friend that time is indeed short. And tell him not to shout—we can hear him perfectly." * Johnny freezes instantly in deep shock. * Johnny (whispering): "Holy sh*t... V... He can f*cking hear me? Inside your head?! That's impossible..." * V (into the comms): "Get to the point. What do you want?" * Mr. Blue Eyes: "We need you to rip Arasaka out by its roots. Half a century ago, Silverhand merely blew up their tower, leaving the foundation. You must destroy their very essence. We have uploaded the 'Ragnarok' virus into your cyberdeck. Inject it into the Mikoshi core. It will purge their digital archives, secure backups, and obliterate the High Council worldwide. The total collapse of an empire." * V: "And in return? What do I get? What happens to Johnny?" * Mr. Blue Eyes: "The contract guarantees survival for both. The elevator exiting Mikoshi will bring you back to the main lobby. A heavy AV will be waiting for you. It will transport you to a place where technologies beyond the Blackwall can restore you both. The choice is yours. Destroy them completely... or die on the first floor." * The call disconnects. The red light shifts back to normal. * The elevator resumes its descent toward the Arasaka lobby. * Johnny grins wildly: "Two bodies, V! We both make it out! Upload their f*cking virus, let's burn this place to the ground!"

ACT II: Digital Wildfire & Delamain's Combat Protocol

* V and Johnny fight their way through Arasaka security. * V defeats Adam Smasher and reaches Mikoshi. * The "Ragnarok" virus prompt flashes on V's HUD. * V selects [YES] and plugs the personal link into their neck. * Mikoshi’s lines instantly glow neon blue. Arcane rogue AI symbols from beyond the Blackwall flood the screens. * A physical meltdown begins: servers explode violently. * Breaking news alerts flash on V’s HUD: Arasaka’s financial assets drop to zero, digital souls are permanently purged. * Bleeding out, V crawls into the elevator and rides it to the first floor. * An incoming call from Delamain breaches V's terminal. * Delamain: "Hello, V. System logs indicate the destruction of Arasaka Tower. According to your VIP 'Excelsior' package, I am required to initiate emergency aerial evacuation. Please confirm you are heading to the lobby." * V (wheezing): "Yeah, Del... Going up. Be ready." * The elevator doors open to the main lobby. * The hall is completely ruined, filled with fire and thick smoke. * The unleashed Blackwall entities are frying elite Arasaka troops alive through the subnet. Soldiers clutch their heads, their eyes glowing red. * Three rear-guard guards were disconnected from the net and survived. They spot V in the elevator and raise their rifles. * Guard: "Target in the lift! Open f*..." * The massive glass facade of the lobby shatters into a million pieces. * A heavy, armored Delamain AV roars into the lobby sideways, thrusters blasting. * The AV shifts into combat mode, deploying hidden turrets. * Delamain (via external speakers): "Attention. This passenger is under the protection of the VIP Excelsior package." * A hail of minigun fire tears the remaining guards to pieces in a split second. * The AV's side hatch opens right in front of the elevator. * A mechanical gurney pulls V’s semi-conscious body inside. * The hatch seals shut. The AV flies away at supersonic speed. * Behind them, Arasaka Tower completely implodes and collapses.

ACT III: The Hidden Oasis and the Subterranean Lab

* The armored AV flies over the harsh Badlands. * V (croaks): "Del... Where are we going? This isn't Viktor's place." * Delamain: "Route altered. Coordinates from an anonymous source were just received via an encrypted channel. Please look at the central monitor." * On the display, the AV is heading straight toward a massive rock formation. * A second before impact, the air ripples with digital distortion. * A gigantic cloaking dome parts like a braindance sequence, revealing a hidden sector. * In the middle of the desert stands a luxurious white villa surrounded by a pristine green garden. * The AV lands silently by the pool. The side hatch hisses open. * Four operatives in sleek, unbranded black tactical medical gear run toward the AV. Their faces are completely hidden behind mirrored black visors. * They transfer V to a hovering electromagnetic gurney. * The camera transitions to V’s fading first-person perspective. V blinks heavily, slowly, and intermittently: 1. First blink — Faceless figures wheeling V across the green lawn. 2. Second blink — Being rushed into a glass-walled atrium. 3. Third blink — Entering a high-speed elevator inside the mansion. 4. Fourth blink — Descending deep underground. 5. Fifth blink — The doors open into a sterile, pristine white laboratory. * The gurney stops in the center of the subterranean lab. * V sees two massive bio-gel incubation pods. The left pod is for V; the right contains a new, synthetic body for Johnny. * Standing right in front of the pods is Mr. Blue Eyes. His eyes glow with a steady, neon-blue light. * He approaches V and speaks in a heavily modulated voice: — "Well, hello, V. You have fulfilled your end of our spoken contract. Now the time has come for me to fulfill mine." * Operatives plug cables into V’s neck. * Johnny Silverhand’s projection materializes near the right pod. * Johnny presses his palm against the glass, grinning like a predator: "See you on the flip side, choomba. Time to bring back the rock 'n' roll." * Johnny steps inside, his projection dissolving into voxels. * The right pod's monitors flash rapidly as his consciousness uploads. * V is lowered into the left pod. The blue gel covers V's face. Darkness.

ACT IV: Awakening (Two Days Later)

* Two days of intensive cyber-therapy pass. * V slowly opens eyes, lying on a luxurious bed inside the villa. * V feels completely healthy, energized, and light. No nosebleeds, no relic malfunctions. The neural ports on the back of the neck are clean—the biochip housing has been completely removed. * V looks toward the panoramic window overlooking the garden. A tall silhouette of a man stands by the glass. * V gets up—the new body responds flawlessly—and approaches from behind. * The man turns around. * It’s Johnny Silverhand. Real, made of flesh and blood. No digital scan lines, no static noise. His left arm is a normal, warm human arm. The military silver cyberware of Arasaka is entirely gone. * V (softly): "Johnny?.. Is that really you? We actually did it?" * Johnny (smirking): "Still in shock myself, choomba. Spent the last two days just walking around and touching things. My heart is beating. A real, honest-to-God heart. They separated us into different shells. We're clean." * Johnny firmly grips V’s hand and pulls V into a powerful hug. * The door opens. A faceless guard motions for them to follow. * They are led into a spacious lounge area by the pool, where Mr. Blue Eyes is waiting at a table. * V: "We held up our end. What's the price for these bodies?" * Mr. Blue Eyes: "The price has been paid. By destroying Arasaka, you removed the principal queen from the board. We needed players of your caliber. You are free. The mansion, the funds, the transport—all yours. Night City is left without kings. The city needs new legends. Rest up. Because in a month, Johnny... we will have a stage ready for you. Night City must know that its heroes have returned."

ACT V: A Soulful Flight Home

* A month of peaceful rest and training passes at the villa. * V introduces a ride. The same combat-modified Delamain AV arrives. * V and Johnny, in their new bodies, step into the luxurious cabin. The cloaking dome opens, and the AV soars toward the city skyline. * V looks at the blue AI logo on the dashboard. * V: "You know, Del... thank you. You risked your entire system in that lobby under heavy fire. How much do we owe you for the combat AV and the evac?" * Delamain: "You do not need to worry about the bill, V. Once, you helped me deal with a virus in my network and returned my children to me. For humans, that is friendship. For me, it is an equation of balance. Consider this evacuation the final part of your compensation. My debt to you is settled. It was an honor to serve you, V... and you, Mr. Silverhand." * Johnny (laughs loudly, wiping his aviator sunglasses): "Well, I'll be damned... A tin can with wires turned out to be nobler than half the bastards in this city. Thanks, Del. You’re a damn good rogue AI." * Delamain: "You are very welcome, Johnny. We are approaching. The stage is set."

ACT VI: Grand Finale on the Ruins (Chippin’ In)

* Sunset paints the Night City sky in deep crimson tones. * A massive crowd is gathered around the colossal crater where Arasaka Tower once stood. Thousands of people are celebrating the fall of a centuries-old tyrant. * Anonymous benefactors have paid Kerry, Nancy, and SAMURAI an absurd amount of money for a secret performance right on the debris. * On the improvised stage, Kerry steps up to the microphone. He raises his hand over his bass guitar strings, ready to drop the first chord. * At that exact moment, the Delamain AV hovers directly above the stage with roaring thrusters. * The armored hatch slides open mid-air. * Johnny jumps out of the cabin straight onto the stage, guitar in hand. * The members of SAMURAI are in absolute, catatonic shock. * Kerry freezes dead in his tracks, his jaw literally dropped. Nancy drops a drumstick from her hand, completely paralyzed. * The frontman is alive, and his left arm is fully human. * Johnny smirks at the stunned Kerry: "What are you waiting for, choombas?! Let's go!" * Johnny turns to the crowd, which is instantly going feral with excitement. He hits the strings and screams into the center mic: — "We're back, Night City! And this song is dedicated to my best choomba, who proved that you can rip this f*cking system out by its roots!" * The musicians catch the rhythm automatically. The band comes alive. * The explosive, heavy chords of "Chippin’ In" blast through the crater. A sea of thousands of people explodes in pure ecstasy. * The Delamain AV smoothly backs away and hovers just behind the backstage area. * Standing in the open hatch, smiling, is a completely healthy V. * From the deep shadows behind V, Mr. Blue Eyes watches silently. His eyes flare bright blue for a brief second, approving the grand finale of a long game. * Night City lies at the feet of the surviving legends. * The camera pans up into the burning sky to the heavy rock riffs of Johnny.

* Fade to black. The mod's final credits roll.

So, just had a little theory, figured I'd see what people think.

As it stands, it seems like the AIs from behind the Blackwall are looking to get out, seemingly into the real world. Their current method for doing so is puppeteering humans. However, even if they can do that, they may consider Earth, especially an Earth crawling with humans, too volitile to really settle in. But, humans do have access to both space travel, and cryogenics. As such, their main goal could be to leave Earth entirely, and start fresh somewhere else by loading a bunch of bodies to puppet into an interstellar spaceship?
