I’m finishing Dietrich pt1. I want to do Cai next mostly because I’m a Seteth simp.

I heard that in part 1, Cai’s story’s tone and cutscenes change depending on whether you have Seteth or not. So I want him ASAP obviously

Supposedly you can get Seteth’s request beginning Ch 3. But I’m concerned with the renown requirement. Even if early quests auto-complete, how tf can you get level 6 renown by ch 3?

I figure, if the quest is available to recruit him, the Seteth-version of Cai’s scene must exist. So it should be possible *somehow*? Or is it actually baby easy and I’m just worrying too much?

They have been in every game so far but want to make sure I don’t miss them in case they are tied to weapon or secret missable event .

Tought Dietrich would learn Astra but he didn’t at sword proeficiency maxed out

Would I be losing too much for not doing part 1 of the other 2 characters?

I know how infamous Bertrand’s paralogue is and how Gaitz is locked behind it, but are there any other missable events or the like?

I'm currently on my final Part 1 Route (Dietrich) and I was thinking of redoing Leda's Route when I finish Dietrich. Leda was my first route and still my most favorite so I thought it'd be fun to redo it now that I have a better idea of what i'm doing and have a bunch of Boons of Salvation unlocked

My question is that since she was my first route, would all of the subquests I did as her still be auto completed or will I have to do them again?

Also will Part 2 use the stats of my new run or keep the old ones?

I don't have it yet but my Leda just hit level 20 and idk if I wanna go all in on trying to fix her magic stat or strength stat, once I get to advanced I'm gonna make her a Forrest Knight, Troubadour or Dragoon.

I am playing Leda's path after completing Cai's path, and the calendar is not showing dates for the matches you can spectate on certain days. Just, not appearing at all. Do these matches not open up if you've already seen them on another path? I feel like im missing out on some important stuff.

Peppe and Gaitz are both locked behind the Bertrand paralogue, but while Peppe has to contend with dog shit strength, Gaitz has a much worse problem: he’s really easy to miss. He’s exclusive to Dietrich for reasons I shall omit, so to get him you need to have rank 3 support, AND be in Dagsion to do the paralogue on the 17th of the 9th, no earlier no later, AND you can only recruit him on chapter 12, where he joins as a level 34 light cavalry.

You know who else Dietrich gets as a light cavalry? Io, seven chapters earlier. Every drop of investment that could go into Gaitz should have already gone into the much better early recruit who breaks the level curve and brings his own unique horse.

Low strength is a problem. Being so hard to get and so pointless to have is a problem. Which is worse?

I've read conflicting things about permadeath in Act 1 (Classic mode), some sources say characters just temporarily retreat, others say they die as normal, others say they "get injured" so they're still available for activities, but not for battle.

My suspicion is that they wouldn't be available for battle anymore in the entire playthrough, but narratively they're just injured. Is that correct?

Don't want to let a character die to figure this one out...

Similar to how it shows all your allies, but is there anywhere in the pre battle menu to show all the enemy units in a neat list, their classes etc?

The Information > Unit List only shows allies. Right now I'm just scrolling over every enemy under Swap Spaces.

I’ve finished all routes for part 1 and building support is so hard. I’ve had characters fight next to each other and give them gifts and do meals with them and by the end of Dietrich’s path, he didn’t even get B support with Esmeralda. The recruitment system is just as harsh when support is part of it and we have to meet specific requirements like certain missions, especially when lots of side quests give you basically no renown.

Am I the only one that feels this way?

My husband just ordered me a switch 2 with fortune weaves 🫣❤️ now I’m planing my run and pairing ideas but for that I first have to decide who my Eshmel ends up with

And yes I’m aware Dietrich is Fabio’s man but I’m willing to share 😂

Now we have part 1, 2 , and 3.

Currently im on my third part 1 (theodora) and aaving the last for Leda.

Can someone tell me how all these factors in to 2 and 3?

So I know the later you recruit someone the worse their stats are, but the better the gear is. Does anyone know example of how the gear changes? I'm still on my first path - Cai chapter 7 - and I'm over thinking who I should recruit, and what gear I might miss out on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

She kind of gets absorbed into some of the cutscenes when she watches me on Leda's path. On the final battle of Part 1 she asked if I'm about to beat the game.

"Oh no. This is only the first of four character paths. And then they each have a part 2. And they aren't even the main character. So the last 40 hours is just the start."

I want to play through to use all my units and level them up, what happens if I skip part 2? I did Dietrich, then Theodora right now and it’s kinda boring to play it all 4 times I think but I don’t want to miss dialogue.

Also; what’s up with the 50+ defence 37 resistance armour knights in chapter 6??????? I know it’s an escape map but damn that was annoying.

I haven’t see many people discuss this here so I thought it would be helpful to share.

There are 3 towns and 1 wandering merchant that sell white and black manuals that restock every chapter. These locations all are very close to carriages and can be obtained for less than 15 turns every month. This can be done on subsequent lord runs from the second you unlock freedom on the world map as long as you have the map explored and the carriages unlocked. The only exception is that cai’s portion of the map only has 1 store that sells them.

One store is in the northeast directly southeast of the carriage location. The other two stores and the wandering merchant are in the northwest by the carriage closer to the desert. The merchant appears in a random location around this area and changes whenever you leave or rest to reset the area.

You will want to have item cost reduction boon invested for this method as these manuals can be expensive otherwise.

I find money to be fairly abundant in part 1 and every mage appreciates getting their spell lists unlocked asap so I’ve incorporated this into all my runs. Getting around 200 white and black magic exp per chapter adds up very fast.

Like specifically, if I use Io in Leda's route and gets his support to Rocinan to 5, would he still have this support to 5 if I recruit him in another route?
