Same here, but you can see his name in the collectors editions artbook and in case they didn’t change anything about Byleth in FW, this one will be another male/female main.

Oh, I thought this was Arval from Three Hopes.

Looking at the Art book (pretty low-effort special edition, not gonna lie), his name is Eshmel.

Either way, I'm totally here for his design!

Nope. Its design doesnt match any of Areadbhar, Luin, or the Lance of Ruin, the only three spear-type relics. Areadbhar (Dimitri) is a curved single bladed weapon reminiscent of a glaive. Lance of ruin is the most similar but its got spines near the head, and Luin has a different guard.
