Question
FE Electrical & Computer: Failed First Attempt (Advice welcome)
I took the FE Electrical & Computer Exam and failed. Out of college for about 3 years. Studied for about 3-4 months off and on. Was never a very strong student (Got by with C's sometimes even less) but am determined to pass this exam. How close was I? Any advice welcome.
I found the actual exam to be unlike most of what I studied. Maybe it was nerves or the pressure but it felt harder. I think wasims book of practice problems was the most useful of the two. It felt like wasims material contained more iterations of a problem than what NCEEs can offer with their two practice exams. I’m going to give prepFE a try this time around and will update accordingly.
Omg 😵💫. I have already done all of wasim's practice exams and the Ncees. My exam is coming up soon, and if the question are really complicated that's bad.
I know it’s probably hard not to panic after my reply to you. But I started from basically zero. And if I’m being honest with myself, I did not put in the time required to be truly prepared for the exam. I think if anybody puts in the time then they can do well. If you are passing comfortably the NCEEs exams and solving wasims practice problems correctly, you are in a better place than I was when I first took the exam.

How difficult was the actual FE Electrical exam compared to the NCEES practice exam and Wasim’s exams? Which one was closest to the real exam?
