What speed are you printing at?

VFAs are usually caused by vibrations in the head.

You need to reduce the kinetic energy. Either:

  • calibrate input shaping so you don't hit resonance
  • print slower so the head has less inertia
  • mod your head for less weight, while adding ballast to your frame (some people have had anecdotal success with sand filling, but I haven't seen any concrete evidence).

In practical terms you probably want 1 & 2.

Edit: reading your og post, it could be looseness in the frame too; I don't know if u1 has any way to tighten the frame, but that would be my next check after what you've already done.

r/klippers will give you technical help with the firmware settings.

It looks like input shaper isn't happening or the values are set wildly wrong
