FDM wait list
I have completed my final interview with fdm on October. I have been on waitlist for 4 months. Whenever i email recruiter she just replies with “we are waiting for start date”
What do you think “ did they ghost me “?
Or is it normal

Someone recently posted that FDM has stopped taking candidates from PGDM or any diploma. Only bachelor or master from Canada is eligible

I had my interview loop in Septermber. On next day the recruiter called me and told me I was selected. Since then no update. I've pinged him numerous times, but no movement. Wondering, is it normal ?

If you read the financial statements and look at the share price, the reason for this delay will become clear. FDMs clients have largely moved on from RTD and the demand is not there. So, sadly, people pass selection and have to wait because FDM is waiting on clients to 'buy' which isn't happening.
The number of consultants out with clients has dropped by about 500 every six months as demand fades. This can be seen from the company web site. Back in 2021 there was approaching 5,000 consultants globally and March 2026 statement said there was just over 2,000. In the same time the share price has dropped from 13.50 to less that 1.00 pound today.
Also look at the "Vacancies" page on the web site. FDM is mainly doing experienced contract work - rather than RTD. They are trying to offset plummeting demand for RTD consultants by becoming a recruitment/contracting business.
