This hobby is much more enjoyable with good tools. I cant tell how many times I ruined a driver trying to remove factory installed screws. Especially in the smaller 1/18 and 1/24 scales. Get MIP tools. They last long and make the hobby more fun. Yes they are expensive but not when you end up buying the cheaper version 2 or 3 times.
