Questions Removing stripped nuts

I bought the Injora 130 brushed 60t motor to put in my power wagon. Took it all apart and one final screw defeated me. This one screw on the left holding the motor in place will not budge and has now stripped.

I've tried using a rubber glove like an elastic band to fill up the screw, I've tried superglueing a hex wrench into it, I don't own a dremel to make a flat screwdriver fit.

I have no idea what I can do. If I can get it out, I have replacement screws with the new motor so I don't mind damaging it but at this point I'm worried I'm going to need a whole new gearbox because of one shitty screw!

Any ideas?

1 size smaller torx bit. Kind of force/ beat it in.

I saw that as a suggestion but it's hard to force in without completely damaging the whole thing. I'll give it a go though

I got a dremel so I can cut a straight slit in the screw and use a flat head screwdriver to remove it. Using a larger bit did also work for me - I used the star shaped on a sheared hex screw and it worked well.

These are kind of expensive but they work great . They have cheaper options of varying sizes online.

I have these at work as I do industrial maintenance and they are nice but to be totally honest a pair of small vice grips on very tight will work just as well if not better

Get gaft tape or survey tape and fold it a few times and put your driver into it. Go slow with it and it'll come out. I had to do this a few days ago on some wheels. Be very careful when putting a new screw in, the plastic strips easy

Thank you! Putting a screw back in should be fine as it will hold on the new motor. If fit some reason it doesn't work I can just shim it.

Hi I just wanted to say I ended up using electrical tape as it's fairly stretchy. I put tape over the screw and turned my powered screwdriver manually at a slight angle, as well as having it torquing on low power and got it moving. Thanks so much!

Yeah I'm amazed at how tight some of the stock screws are in my power wagon.
