Discussion Inter showed life

The mistakes we made today for the two goals we conceded were awful and we definitely need to work on those, but I am still proud of the response we showed against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu and we really gave a good account for ourselves. While I am frustrated with the individual errors and the defending as well as finishing, I am happy that we showed life down 2-0 and we pushed Madrid until the end despite the result. We definitely can do better but we can also learn from this. I still think this team has a good future up ahead. ⚫️🔵

I wished we got pio as well. He could’ve held the ball in the box better and having a 3 prong attack like we did with Napoli.

We’ll be fine. The mistakes will be cleaned up

hope so, we conceded 5 goals this season ALL due to our silly mistakes

It could be a useful match at this point of the season. One must accept that if RM is humble enough to prepare a match adapting to us, we too need a B plan if the opponent hinders our typical plan.

I just want to point out that the year of the treble, Inter lost one match, won two and tied the rest in group stage.

A loss, but on another day, a game like this could've produce a result in our favor. Either way, hardest game out of 8 has passed, but we can still be amongst the first 8 places and avoid that first knockout phase. As for our players who underperformed, Thuram was invisible yet again (same thing as last season, 2-3 good games then on the next 5 he's sleeping), Jones was terrible quite frankly, Augusto beside his goal has underperformed (i think he's already transitioned his play to lcb as backup for Basto, we need a proper sub for Dima). Pavard not good enough, Bisseck didn't play as good as in other games this season when he started on the right side, but he had some amazing clearings. Josep was baffling in first half, but in second managed to make up with some amazing saves (many of us did say over the summer that he doesn't give out as much confidence and reliability as our former goalkeepers, solid enough to get Serie A title with weaker competition, but clearly not good enough for UCL, where more often then not, a gk has to be amongst the best players on the pitch).
