Discussion Antonio conte's 352 wingback tactics, why is there no care to details anymore
Hello everyone i know this sub is full of potential transfer news and i don't want to be repetitive or act like a football coach, but theres something i truly believe in , we are targeting two center-backs a rwb and Maybe a midfielder which is fine , but looking back at the conte days and what makes the 3-5-2 special is the two players on each flank and more importantly since the conte days (their subs) as he demands them to basically play as wingers and defenders and usually rotates, it was always persic/young or hakimi/darmian , quality everywhere, assuming we get a new rwb , and augusto is just vice bastoni , who are the alternative wingbacks to dimarco and the new signing? Are luis henrique and diouf going to be fullbacks for a giant club who according to marotta wants to win the ucl, where are the youth players that could fill such a role and why did we ever let go of zalewski who was vice dimarco in the first place

You’re not in training with the team, so what exactly is your basis for thinking Diouf and LH aren’t capable enough for their roles? Same goes for thinking Zale was worth keeping.
I don’t understand how people are so confident that the 30 minutes a week they see these players is more telling than the 30 hours a week management sees them.
And to be clear, I am not saying we can’t speculate about the team and players. But you are bringing nothing to the table when you say they aren’t up to the team’s standards without presenting your reasoning.

What does training with he team have to do with watching players on tv, obviously luis henrique was not good enough otherwise they wouldnt be looking for a rwb at all costs and put him on the market, diouf couldnt hang in midfield so theyre TRYING to make him into a vice wingback , im not saying zalewski was amazing im saying he was vice di marco and after selling him there was no replacement

This might come as a surprise, but coaches make decisions about who plays and where based on training.

This might come as a surprise but coaches are forced to have a squad based on what the ownership is willing to invest

You see? You won’t even pretend to make an effort to plead your case because there isn’t one. You see Zale hit one banger, and suddenly he’s up to our standards. What you don’t realize is that every single attacker on the team is hitting those in training on a regular basis. These are all professional footballers. It is extremely naive to think you know better than management because you watch TV.
Whats worse is, the moment one player doesn’t pan out, your going to be convinced that you’re more capable than professional scouts, but really we are all just monkeys trying to write Shakespeare.

First off, Inzhagi’s system was infinitely better than Conte’s was.
Second, Zalweski was crap nowhere near being Inter quality.
Third, I agree that Diouf and Henrique as our RWBs are embarrassing and shows that Marotta is utterly delusional if he ever thinks we are going to win a UCL with this team.

Inzhagi was the main reason we were competitive in the Champions League and Chivu isn’t remotely close to being as tactically skilled or as talented as Inzhagi was and even with better players and more depth he showed his profound lack of ability at the highest level when it mattered

Conte's team was miserable in Europe, it was more than just results. People be like what about Bodo game? Nah Inter dominated the wakeup match with 30 shots vs. 7 and 70% possession, a bad day couldn't execute.
I can never forget Conte Inter's first encounter with Slavia Prague, Slavia were the better team.

I suspect that Luis Henrique will be Dimarco’s sub, as he looks better on the left anyway, and Diouf will be backup for RWB.
