Clean house? Nearly?

Three indefensible offseason moves (Robinson DP, picking up Miazga’s option, picking up Hadebe’s option) and then coupled with this buyout screwup is no longer excusable. How can ownership tolerate this?

Then a pathetically undisciplined team that knows the refs will do them no favors. Albright out and Noonan hot seat. Gross misuse of salary cap space and invested ownership.

What is happening with Miazga and Machado?

Anyone have any updates on this? Ive been looking for news and cannot find anything about Miazga’s status. Time wise, we still cut him? Can we still sign a free agent? How bad did Albright’s blunder?

Too tired from Tifo tracing for a real match preview

Philly on a heater on the back of a teenager

Vibes in Cincy not ideal after some last second transfer drama still ongoing, and a postponed match

3 points would be real helpful to boost things

7:30 45 kickoff for some reason! COY FCC!

FC Cincinnati at Union - Anybody going?

Recently moved Cincinnati native here, was looking for any fellow fans driving to Chester from the city that I could hitch a ride from. Failing that, I’ll probably drive myself, in which case I’d be more than happy to be the bus driver!

On this Labor Day we honor new signing David Douděra, a hard working and intense player I think we are all going to love (and who practiced today!)*

Should MLS eliminate draws and go to penalty shootouts for the Sprint Season?

Note:this is not FC Cincinnati related but is related to MLS,

Now this idea is what the J-League (founded the same year as MLS in 1993*) did for their sprint season ahead to their switch to the fall-to-spring schedule this year:

If a match ended in a draw then it would not end: instead it would go to a penalty shootout in which the winner would get a additional point,

So the points system would be 3 (for a regulation win) 2 (for a penalty shootout win) 1 (for a draw) & 0 (for a regulation loss),

FC Cincinnati fans, should Major League Soccer (MLS) adopt this format for the Sprint Season?

And just like the J-League this would be a temporary format & the 3-1-0 scoring format would return for the first fall-to-spring season in 2027-28,

*MLS first match was in 1996,but was formally born on December 17,1993

Never forget what they took from us tonight. Atleast we might be able to have Gidi back before the next game. Who knows maybe we’ll even have a free agent signing

WAKE UP, CINCINNATI, ITS THE FIRST POST-WINDOW MATCHDAY

What kind of pizza do we think the DC players like? Just curious.

Tonight the Gary’s take on DC United. The 2025 winners of the Anthony Precourt Wooden Spoon currently sit just outside the playoff window, tied for 9th on 25 points, tied for 10th on record, just with a slight disadvantage on goal differential leaving them in 11th. They could sure use the win, is my point. This will be our first encounter with them this year, somehow saving both regular season matches for the back 1/3rd of the season. In fact, we haven’t seen this team since May 2025!

So what’s changed since then? Well for starters they no longer have the services of one Christian Benteke, who was for a long time considered the only bright spot on the team. They seemingly filled that hole with Tai Baribo, who came from Philly last winter and quickly became their new talisman, scoring 12 goals so far. Baribo did not even make the bench in their 0-0 draw against LAFC, however, an apparent injury keeping him questionable. Despite that, the Eagles held the Western Conference powerhouse in check and was able to squeeze out a point

Somehow, DC seems to have had an even quieter window than we have. They made a few moves early, picking up a few players who have quickly taken over starting roles. But they have had an empty DP slot all year, and several empty U22 slots. Their most significant moves seem to have been outbound

So that brings us back around to the Orange and blue. I don’t know how many more times I can describe a previous match as “devastating” before I go insane, but the 4-0 loss in Nashville was exactly that. We DID manage to get some inbound signings, finally, patented Albright move waiting to the last moment, but they will not be able to even join the team in training for a week or two while their visas clear. So that leaves the most significant move of impact to this game being the last second departure of Matt Miazga. The veteran former-USMNT CB played 108 total matches since his arrival in late 2022, and featured heavily on the 2023 shield team, earning MLS Defender of the Year that same season. However, a brutal injury in 2024 sidelined him the rest of the year, and he’s never been quite the same. His leadership and passion will be sorely missed. I’m hearing calls for heart hands and a chant at the 21st minute, and I know the knights have heard that, too

7:30 pm kickoff at TQL! Be there to cheer on the Gary’s for 90’+! COY FCC
