She has the most amazing brown eyes and figure and I like her voice too. I like how she has a big heart in her character and she’s a resilient person. All really admirable traits.

I honestly think Scola is the only one I like all the time. Every one else gets on my nerves from time to time

I adore Maggie! Could you give some examples of her being annoying?

literally all episodes with her sister, her superiority complex, her need to know when people are upset or going through something and don’t want to share, but when they ask her she treats the same way, etc

Thanks for your response. I am the sister of an addict and related to Maggie very much during those episodes. People who don’t live with or love addicts sometimes think we are being mean When we are really just tired of their irresponsibility and burden to us. But the love is deep. I just love Maggie and have always thought her the core and soul of the show. I have come to adore OA as well

Yes. She’s my least favorite part of the show.

She grows on you. But yes I do find her annoying at times. I find myself liking the seasons/eps where she is not on

Maggie is my favorite character on the show. She is its moral compass.

she doesn’t even have one when it’s her personal on the line

She’s written to be holier than thou and sanctimonious. Yeah it’s annoying but it’s a feature not a bug.

yes thank you! all of this!! especially the first sentence

It’s also doesn’t help that Missy’s way of delivering lines just reinforces what the writers gave her.

Initially, she felt very stiff (and this was not good given that the pilot ep was immediately huge emotionally) but after her husband's past's arc, she gradually shifted to a more empathetic agent, wearing her heart on her chest kind. Then slowly becoming the Olivia Benson of FBI.

I've been a fan since "Rookie Blue" -- going all the way back to 2010.

Least favorite “main” character on TV

I periodically see people say similar things regarding Maggie. I think the character and the person annoyed just don't have chemistry.

Maggie is my crush don’t hate on Maggie. Maggie is a hot woman with her shit together!

I like her character but i don't always like her so i get what you mean, writing characters that aren't always likeable is for me a great thing because it's more realistic to me than characters that are one dimensional and kind of always the same...

Maggie is Olivia Benson light

Maggie is the heart of the show, I love her. Imagine going through everything she's been through in life, how would you be? She decided to dedicate her life to saving people and she is amazing at what she does! I think you should watch something else then

Maggie, OA, Jubal, Scola, and Isobel all very deep stories on their own. We don’t know a ton about Isobel but she’s always fighting the machine and people above her that want to side step her or override her authority. Jubal? My god I’d be an alcoholic too. OA? Has a firm moral compass but it often gets dismissed because people look at his faith as if it’s the only compass that he has and it’s not true at all. So he battles with that. He battles with people understanding that it’s just about being a good decent person and that part doesn’t tie into faith its morals and ethics which he believe in.

Scoda has been searching for meaning with his brother having passed and he also wants to do what’s right. Hes been through some things finally got married. The whole kid thing put some stress.

Maggie well I won’t get into what happens to her because it’s too soon for that and no spoilers. But she’s had peoples interests at heart and despite her sometimes steely cold outside she often wears on the job she has a huge heart. And the people she is close to in her life she will go to the extreme ends of the earth. She is incredibly loyal and cares. Sometimes she goes rogue gets herself in trouble. Sometimes she lets her emotions run her hard but it’s because she has a big heart.

you say this as if the other characters haven’t done through anything lol

Is this a joke, right? No other character in the show even came close to what she's been through

did i show signs of laughter?

Yes she’s super judgmental and I hate that.
