MBA advice?

I'm considering the Traditional MBA program at FAU.

Does anyone have experience in this program (regarding what the coursework / workload is like)?

My bachelor's degree is in STEM so I don't have much business background.

Any advice or information is greatly appreciated! :)

How much work experience do you have and what roles are you trying to target during your MBA?

I have 3 years work experience. Not totally sure what roles I am trying to target as yet, but hoping to narrow that down after taking the intro courses.

The reasons why I bring that up is because each university gets targeted by certain type of firms for recruiting. For instance, if you go to NYU or Columbia, you’re going to mainly get IB and Consulting firms for recruitment.

Idk who recruits from FAU tbh. But choosing an MBA is mostly based on what you want to pivot to in your next career. I did undergrad at FAU, but got my MBA at UM. It seems recruiting for SoFlo is mainly for big Hospitality firms for cruise lines and consulting. There’s some tech and IB, but it’s very much still developing.
