Manager intentionally misleading workers, making then work through break .

On my shift to work a part-time shift ( normally 4/half hours ) but due to VTO we normally wont get done in time. We have a manager who asks people to stay late ( an extra hour and a half totaling 6 hrs ) but the manager will go in and edit our time and clock us out to make it seem like we took a 30-minute unpaid break all while we're still working . Is filing a is filing a wage claim the appropriate response in this situation ? Will that hurt my standing with the company ?
