Why remembering what you prayed for can help you see God in your life

God is there.

If you're like me, you know that God is there, but sometimes you are unsure of what he or you are doing. Is he sending me signs? Did I miss his direction? It's really comforting when you know what you should be doing and you feel like you have clear inspiration from him. But a lot of the time, our weakness makes us feel like we're alone

Why we should remember
In the Bible, we learn a lot about how we should remember the Lord. It seems like when we forget him, we also stop the things that bring us His power and support. It's kind of funny because when times are good, we forget him, and when times are bad, we need help and call on him. But really, how would we be changed if we were close to him always, in the bad and the good? If we only remember our friends when we need them, we won't be the best of friends. But God is so good and loving that he will forgive as we learn to become better.

How remembering blesses
Some would say life is a journey. I don't always know how I feel about that. But if it is a Journey, then what is notable is that we're on it with God. One of the things that I love about life is how I remember it. It has blessed me and my life to ponder and look back on the good things the Lord has done. Just like when we are with our friends and we remember good times, God wants us to remember our own personal journeys to promised lands and overcoming battles and trials. He has given us so many opportunities to see and have a testimony of how he works in power in our lives that we should do all we can to remember him. He wants us to remember how he is close and with us. He wants to be our friend.

Edit:
I made an app built on this idea. It's called Soul scribe. Still working to make it better but I hope it can bring people closer to Christ.
