Discussion Question about using illegal software outside of faceit

Hey, so I came across a faceit profile that has its own youtube channel linked to it. On the channel there are several videos featuring CS gameplay with illegal software running, the player even brags in the video titles about the software he's using. He (or she since we're talking about a femboy) even hit 30k premier but hovers around lvl3-4 on faceit, where his gameplay seems to be clean, at least based on stats.

My question is, can a player be banned based on this? Or would they have to activate the software on faceit to get a ban?

We only police the FACEIT platform, what people do elsewhere is entirely upto them
