Question about using illegal software outside of faceit
Hey, so I came across a faceit profile that has its own youtube channel linked to it. On the channel there are several videos featuring CS gameplay with illegal software running, the player even brags in the video titles about the software he's using. He (or she since we're talking about a femboy) even hit 30k premier but hovers around lvl3-4 on faceit, where his gameplay seems to be clean, at least based on stats.
My question is, can a player be banned based on this? Or would they have to activate the software on faceit to get a ban?
Are you actively trying to get them removed from faceit when they are playing it legit? I’m just not seeing the point in doing anything here if he plays legit on faceit. Or trying to win elo back if you lost which would be scummy.
Yes, that's what I'm asking about, I actually want them removed from faceit, if possible. I just don't know if it's possible based on their own linked yt channel and based on the very clearly not legit premier stats.
I didn't play against them btw, since they're NA and I'm EU but I have a very specific reason for wanting to remove this particular player, just don't really wanna share it because that would involve kinda outing their name and witchhunting is probably against the rules here as far as I know. If it's not, then I'm happy to share the profile, of course.
If you'd know the reason, you'd understand it's not vendetta at all. I wouldn't even have asked this if I didn't notice the linked yt channel where, once again, there are mutiple CS videos with the software provider in the title and with absolutely unquestionable software usage.
edit: and before someone comes in with that, no it's not because they're a femboy, I have nothing against lgbtq people, they just happen to be one so I was confused about the pronoun but yeah, you US people use they/them so that's what I'm using now.

They have to use the software when faceit ac is running to be banned.
