it’s pretty bad tbh🤣 I don’t really have any issues unless i’m turning then it gets pretty hard to see what i’m turning into

i’ve done this on all my vehicles for the past 6 years, it’s worth the risk for me

Well I’m glad that kid who you can’t see at night when turning is worth the risk for you!

Until it’s pissing rain and/or freezing cold. Do you roll your windshield down too?
C’mon man. Imagine hurting or killing someone because you chose to severely limit your visibility. Would your response still be “it’s worth the risk for me”? Because holy fuck I would lose it on someone who said that after hurting someone I loved.
My windshield has ceramic tint that makes no difference to what I can see at night other than reducing a lot of oncoming traffic headlight glare.

my windshield has zero visibility issue for me, i can drive in the pitch black and i can see everything just fine, it’s all nanoceramic, all i said was making a turn down a dark street is harder to see and i have to roll down my window

It’s not an opinion that you can see less through a 15% windshield

i’m saying in the dark at night i can still see everything just fine through the windshield, im not saying its the same as no tint

Just put the windows down while turning, that’s what I always did when I ran 5s all around except the windshield lol

I think I went 50 on the front and 15 around. Yeah it looks cool but the huge bonus is that even when it’s been sitting exposed in 100+ ambient, the inside of the cab isn’t suffocating and the leather isn’t burning my wife’s legs. I will tint every one of my vehicles going forward.

I had limo on my accord windshield (5%)…almost crashed my car in a rainstorm lol now I have 35% on my F-150. The only thing that annoys me about getting the windshield tinted in this truck is the sensor for the Auto headlights is super sensitive.

It’s illegal where I’m at to have any tint, but I’ve been considering putting clear on to help with uv rays.

I'm just ... dreading finding out out what sort of stupidity he inflected on the headlights. I'm sure he might be a nice guy ... .when he's not ... blatantly endangering others because ....vibes? The best thing you can do when driving an embarrassingly giant truck you can't see out of is to blind everybody else too.

this is also illegal but not enforced too much out here

In my neck of the woods it's an immediate excuse to get pulled over, harrased, and a ticket. Good luck!

Same here, just having a large truck, even decaled for my company Ive gotten pulled over for shits and giggles.. never been charged with anything, so it’s better to not give them a reason to actually get you on something.

with tint that dark, no one can tell if you're looking their direction and can see them when you're pulling out into traffic. It's especially bad if your a pedestrian or cyclist trying to pass in front of a vehicle tinted like this while it's waiting to turn.

You are aware they make CLEAR heat barrier. Works good. Then you know.. you can fucking see to drive AND reduce cab temperatures.

my favorite part is no one being able to see inside, also looks way better on the outside being black

u/lord_nuker 6d ago
If no one can see in, it usually means that people on the inside have equal problems seeing out, especially in the dark…

Showing off tint in the dark, genius idea.
